Not for anyone new to 3d printing.
The printer itself is good when it works. But it's important to remember that this is still a relatively cheap chinese 3d printer, so Quality control lacks a bit. I had to spend a huge amount of time calibrating it. The z axis swith wasnt quite touching so I had to use a lot of tape to half bodge it together, then print a new bracket off of thingiverse - It's a common enough issue that someone made a part for it, that stems back from 2017. They're still selling them with this defect so they clearly don't pay a great deal of attention to customer issues. Other negatives:The instructions are on a usb stick - Nothing to indicate this is where they are other than reviews online, so something to watch out for.The instructions are written by someone that english clearly isn't their first languageThe Instructions are all over the place, there's videos (that miss steps) and there's pdf files (that also are missing steps) You're better off finding a guide on youtube. There is no guidence on what to do once the printer is builtThe test print on the usb is corrupted and will fail - Download boaty from thingiverse to test it with. The options aren't labled in an intuative way - I ended up to sticking with the Cura spftware to manage the printer.Download the latest version of Cura - the one on the usb stick is several years out of date - Also the newer version actualy has some default settings already for you - You might still need to adjust these, I found turning up the temperature on the bed and nozzle by 10c improved the quality a lot.Overall, the printer once its calibrated and working is pretty good. But it is not an out of the box printer, especially if you're new to 3d printing. Defiinately look at the videos on youtube for how to set it up and calibrate it before you buy, some people seem to get lucky, others like me get a headache trying to get the bed flat. Also, calipers for measuring the distance from the table to the base help masively leveling it, and pritstick is useful to keep what you're printing in place (on top of the tape), mine moved around a bit after getting 10% into printing
