Works as advertised but takes practice
the directions are simple but very generic. the engraver works wonderful but you must experiment with power settings to get a clean etch. Overall i very pleased with this unit

Will not engrave metal of any kind.
Works pretty good for a cheaper laser. I have done a lot of Ar & pistol mags with it and some painted metal also.

There is guide to consistently media that you are engraving!
This seller plays games with returns expect you to video the operation the device prior their being willing to accept a return. Their engraver does not include any mechanism for aligning the material that is to be engraved and therefore does to provide the function expected or remotely required to even engrave any items with consistency!

Unit didn't power up at all.

Quiet, not nearly as noisy as the NEJE.
The cost I found was too steep. After purchase I found that I could get it for quite a bit cheaper, $60 cheaper in some instances. Do your research and you can get it cheaper and be the same quality.

Work as intended so far.Not much in the instruction manual, but anyway easy to explorer.Major defects for me is that the Mac software/driver didn't work.

Good for beginner.
This is a ok basic laser engraver. The laser came almost all put together and was relatively easy to set up. The drawbacks are very basic software with the laser, software is metric only with no way to convert to inches, hard to find correct placement under the laser beam. I would recommend this to a very beginner in this hobby.

Instructions are lacking
I expected a little bit of delay in receiving this item, but three weeks is a bit long. The thing that really ticks me off is the instructions or the lack thereof. I'm not computer savvy, and there's no mention of how to down load the software. I can live with the broken English, they do better with English than I do with Chinese. However, the company could spend a few bucks and hire a translator to write the instructions.
