GREAT PERFORMACE!
This looks and sounds amazing and the editing is done very well, not the dynamic editing style that makes you turn it off 30 seconds in after the 45 edit points have already given you a headache. If you've looked at this and not picked it up, pick it up, you will not be disappointed.

Excellent audio and video
The quality of the audio, video and actual filming is great. The footage doesn't bounce around from musician to musician at a whirl-wind pace like some concert videos I have. This is definitely audiophile grade material. I've watched it both in stereo and 7.2 surround. I actually like watching this concert in surround because it doesn't exaggerate the surround channels. The surrounds just play some ambient noise, echo when necessary and crowd engagement. I have some concerts that have percussion coming from behind me (Eagles, Hell Freezes Over). That would never happen at a live performance and it gets old quick. This concert is mixed for accuracy and quality. The show itself if wonderful. That being said, this is a jazz trio concert. There is no guitar, backup singers, etc., so don't expect all the songs to sound like the album version. It is Norah playing piano, a bass player (on upright and electric) and a drummer. Of course, Norah and her voice is the main attraction. It is a very intimate setting in a very jazz trio style. If you love Norah and you love jazz, this is a must have video.

A treat for this fan
Norah Jones on piano, drummer, upright. Simple.Up close and personal, small venue, large crowd.Audio is decent. Video is good; not a slick production - more of an up close and personal portrayal.I am a fan.

Recording is top notch
Sound quality is excellent, sounds like a studio recording not a bar setting.

An Intimate Live Performance by Norah Jones
Norah Jones is one of the world's best musicians working today, and as a musician, there is no experience more intimate, more personal than live performances. Norah Jones' live performance at Ronnie Scott's is a fantastic live on Blu-Ray. Accompanied by Brian Blade and Christopher Thomas, Norah plays a collection of her songs at Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London. The Blu-Ray also features an interview with Norah about music and the Jazz club. It is a wonderful addition to any musician's collection of live performances, and for you Norah Jones fans like myself, it's a great one.

Norah Jones, live at a wine club.
I really enjoyed the experience. Ultimately however I do feel like the songs lacked a bit of debth overall. It's not that anyone was off key here, none of them were. The music is very good. Norah's Singing is what I expect of her. [which is perfection, in all honesty] And Brian Blade and Christopher Thomas are both talented enough at their trade. Occasionally though the lack of more instruments was telling. Even despite my getting totally lost in "dont know why" close to the end. But then that song Norah Jones could do sleep walking, it's her signature song and one thats been there from the start.Conclusion. It's worth getting. Although Norah can, and has done better in the past. Here she has nothing to prove and don't appear to be trying to. If you are a fan [and who wouldn't be?] you will probably enjoy this.

Buy the CD
Such a beautiful lady , such a lovely voice . I didn't much enjoy the DVD though as she did not interact with the audience- would enjoy a CD more I feel.

Wonderful performance
Norah Jones is one of my favorite artists. The performance was for quite small auditorium but intimate. Norah came back to easy jazz. Nothing more to say. If you are Norah fan it must have.
