Anti-Fatigue Comfort Mat for Home and Office with Replaceable Charcoal-Pattern Carpet-Top Insert, 24-Inch by 36-Inch

I was searching for replacement anti-fatigue mats for my kitchen & after much research decided on the SmartCells mats. After having them on my floor for several weeks now I'm still trying to decide whether or not I like them. I think they are very industrial looking for a home. They did have a basket weave design that I would have preferred but that design had been discontinued. The carpet insert part of the mat is kind of rough - when walking on the mat with socks on, the socks tend to stick to the mat. I am also concerned on how the carpet insert will hold up over time. For paying over $130 per mat I feel I should really be thrilled with these mats but I'm not.UPDATE: I REALLY HATE THESE MATS!!!!!! I wanted to return them but Amazon said the return window had closed which I missed by only a few days! For the price of these mats I should love them but I don't!! If the SmartCells company reads these reviews I am begging you to allow me to return these mats to you. NOTE: I purchased two of these mats. PLEASE LET ME RETURN THEM & I will take down my negative review. Thank you. **** 4/10/17 update. These mats are dangerous. I have MS & I continue to trip over these mats. I complained about these mats from day one & begged the company to let me return them but I never received a response, they just ignored me. Now I am going to complain to the Better Business Bureau & file a complaint with Amazon. I am very unhappy with these mats and they are very unsafe with someone with my condition. This company apparently has no respect or compassion for their customers. And Imam also disappointed with Amazon for not stepping in.

This mat has little give and doesn't really help. It is well made and durable with a nice fabric top. Unfortunately it isn't very big either given the cost. For background, I have been using a stand up desk for a few years now and when I changed jobs this year I left my old desk and mat at my old job. Getting a new stand up desk doesn't take much these days. Getting a decent anti-fatigue mat for an office environment is a another matter. I do some serious computational work on a regular basis that I really need to sit down for. No one has really come up with a good solution for a comfortable but durable anti-fatigue mat that stands up to an office chair and looks like it belongs in an office.

The mat works extremely well. If you spend all day on your feet it's well worth considering. It seemed to take the load off my knees after a day of standing and also made standing itself, less fatiguing.
