The item came in an excellent shell with good padding to make sure of no damage during shipping. Very pleased with the item and look forward to using it at my favorite pool hall. Using for league tonight on 4/17/2015 and on Saturday. I now have 2 McDermott cues and very pleased with quality. Thanks again

I've been using this cue for about 3 weeks now and am very happy with it. It's well built and feels smooth; and for $50, its better than a house cue. I would recommend it.

McDermott Pool stick
I bought this pool stick for my boyfriend who loves the “McDermott” brand but this item was not what it was suppose to be. The colors I chose were correct, however the pool stick is not straight. It is completely off balance. We own a very nice pool table with lots of quality pool sticks and none of them are bowed like this one. I am extremely unhappy with this item and did not realize there was “return date” so now I am out money for this gift that cannot be used because I cannot return it. I would not recommend this item. They also do not respond to inquiries.

Good nice stick for begginner! I used this all the time while deployed! Nice weight and was in great condition!

Two Stars
The shaft was not straight and I didnt want to add more cost by having to mail it back. Another thing, there are a lot of cues that dont list the weight.Most are 19 oz. I like a 20 oz.so I have to order an extra ounce. For a well ballanced cue you should add weight to the shaft also. I dont think there are many cues that you can add weight to the shaft. In a 20 oz. cue the base or butt is approximately 16 oz. and the shaft is approximately 4 oz.
