Watching the public disclosure today it’s clear that most Americans no longer know what our Constitution actually says, what it means or why what it says and means is important. Enough of the rhetoric- this book should be mandatory reading for ALL Americans! Easy to read and it provides context, something we no longer get with the 24/7 stream of information. Context, brings clarity and this book does that perfectly. Please read it, and give it to your children to read and everyone you know.

Fascinating, practical information that every American should know, explained in a clear and concise way without talking down to the reader. I expect to want to refer to this book regularly so, after reading the ebook, I ordered hard copy so that I may refer to it and thumb it and mark it up as needed.

A very clean, easy, and effective way to get into the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution. I wish I had this book years ago when studing these documents in school. It is set up like a tutorial. The structure of each document is discussed and the reader is told what to look for when reading the actual documents. Then a series of quizzes are provided to test your understanding and mastery. Very clean, logical, and well done. Only grief I have is that the author is a conservative. His conservative bias shows through. I am a fairly savvy reader and easily identified the conservative influences. Others just starting out may not be able to distinguish the actual material from the indoctrination. I am probably making more of this than is justified, but I feel that it needs to be mentioned. For this reason I deducted a star.

Loved reading this book cover to cover. The tests are definitely worthwhile. I’ve learned a lot, refreshed myself, and am ready to move on to the Constitution with some well grounded knowledge. Just wish this author had done the same format for the Constitution too!
