Q: Is this tool magnetic?

Nope. Maybe that would help. It uses a weird spring clip arrangement to hold the E-clips in place. Perhaps it works with the larger clips in its range, but it's rather ineffective for tiny ones.

Q: How can I remove 1.5 mm e clip by using this tool?

I think you're supposed to push on the open side of the e-clip with the smallest fork of the tool. This should push the clip out. Note, however, that I haven't had much luck with this tool, especially with the smallest e-clips, in either inserting or removing. Insofar as I can ascertain an effective tool for small e-clips has yet to be invented.

Q: Does this work for C clips also (in addition to E clips)?

If it works at all, yes. However, it hasn't proven effective with the 3mm e clips I use for clocks. Dunno about larger sizes.

I would think it is too small for mower e-clips. I don’t know. I don’t use it much as it doesn’t really work in most situations. If you can’t get to the clip straight on, it’s wortless
