I mainly use on bowls turned on a lathe. Go through the grits to 240. Dab of abrasive paste (true grit) and improve the finish. Then increase speed to apply and then polish this wax. Quick, easy and carnauba wax is harder and more durable than beeswax.

Good quality and good value

I wanted a carnuba type wax for my briar pipes and this works very well,the sticks are a good size and using a hand dremmel with a buffing pad it puts a deep shine on to the bowl of the pipe that provides a good protective coating.

This is a near perfect wax for giving woodturning projects a high gloss finish which works well on light and dark colours of wood and produced a good shine when layered and buffed. However I find that the finish can be scratched easily when layered. The composition of the wax allows for smooth and even and spared application and is not as tacky as pure beeswax is for an easy high end finish which shines nicely when polished with a cotton rag. My wax sticks are expected to last me a large number of projects and are definitely worth trying for anyone who turns a variety of woods.
