What can I say? It's a broom handle. Not a lot can go wrong. You connect to a broom head.

Although I bought a pair of scrubbing brushes only one was needed to clean about 30m of stone kerbing. I am very pleased with the results.The first photo shows the spare brush and the used brush. The second shows a section of kerb before and after cleaning.Manually scrubbing the kerb is hard work, but satisfying. It also uses a lot less water than a jet wash. The other reason I decided to use a scrubbing brush was because the kerb is between a flower bed and a brick road and I wanted to minimise displacing soil from the bed and sand from the road.The brush will wear down if you put enough effort in and I found using a two-handed action wears it more evenly. Mileage will also vary according to the material being cleaned; as the stone kerb is very hard and rough it wore the bristles quite quickly. My knuckles weren't scraping the pavement so there's still some life in the first brush.I think the brush was durable enough for this job which is one that I'll do every other year. It's also comfortable to hold one or two handed. Given it's price:performance I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

A favourite for cleaning my boots and other cleaning jobs where a strong cleaning action is required. The superior natural bristles and pleasant wood handle are both effective and excellent all for an unbelievable price.
