Great parakeet cage
We keep two parakeets in this cage. It is easy to assemble and easy to clean, especially with the slide out litter tray. There are plenty of doors and places to hand toys. The food bins are perfect. Just add water dishes and some toys and perches, and voila, an exquisite home for lovely parakeets.

Parakeet loves this cage!
I own one parakeet and I wanted to have plenty of room for Shiloh to fly around in and have plenty of room to play and exercise. Shiloh loves it. The cage is huge and worth the price. As far as assembling the cage, I did have to tighten some of the latches and close the off with pliers, not because it would not stay together but because I am a safety nut when it comes to Shiloh and did not want to risk anything. I also secured all the doors shut with twist ties, again not because I had to, I just do not take any chances. I have two apprehensions:1. Some of the white coating on the cage had drips that dried a little sharp; simple fix I just took a nail file and filed them smooth. That could just be me being a safety nut. I love Shiloh like a child so safety is extremely important to me. I made sure I inspected every inch of this cage and ran my hand over all the edges to make sure there was nothing that could harm Shiloh.2. The side clips that are intended to secure the base to the cage do not line up properly, they are slightly too small. This did not bother me because they are not needed in my opinion.Cleaning this cage is extremely easy. It has plenty of doors, so you have access to every inch of this cage. As far as your bird escaping while the doors are open; that is simple do not open the doors in an unsecure area with open windows or potential risks. I always clean my cage in my bathroom and let Shiloh fly around while I clean the cage. No offense I feel as though people are looking for someone to blame when they make a mistake. If you must open the doors for something besides cleaning simply just keep a close eye on your bird. The seller advises that you inspect the cage every six months and they suggest inspecting each piece before assembling. They want to know if there are any issues with their products. As far as complaining about having to pay for return shipping, I would not mind if I had to; I own an E-Commerce store and I charge for return shipping that is not refundable as well.I believe this cage is not meant to last a lifetime; what cage is? When this one needs to be replaced, I will purchase this cage again. You cannot just buy a pet and expect to just throw it in one cage for the rest of its life and assume that the cage will last a lifetime. Being a pet owner comes with a lot of responsibility and time. I hope everyone stays healthy and safe! God Bless.

LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING!
yes. i am talking to you. ignore all these negative reviews and just go for it. i have three budgies/parakeets and they are so content with this inexpensive and well built cage!!!! i loved it fits perfectly in my small home. the best cage I've ever owned. i have been through 2 expensive petsmart cages and they don't compare to this one. come on it doesn't get better than this. easy to clean too! it doesn't have one, not two, not three etc,,,,, but 10!!!!!!!!!! doors to assist you in cleaning and placing their food with ease. this cage will always be there for you. through thick and thin. through your birbies first molt to when they are ready to bring an egg to the home. so durable. drop those 40 bucks on this bad boy. and so easy to built come on susanne use your common sense ! smh. anyways if you love your birbs this is the cage for them. mich out. peace.

Only a few problems but really quality
This cage is really good for the price but it does have a few downsides. I have a cockatiel and his little toes get stuck in the bars sometimes and the parts of the cage are a little unsymmetrical and crooked but it still works nothing too big of a problem. My bird still really likes this cage and it looks really good in our house and is the perfect size for him other than my few complaints this is really good for small parrots

Nice, comfortable cage
I bought this flight cage for my 2 finches. And they really seem to enjoy their new home. There is a lot of space for toys and perches. Large space encourages them to fly and be active. Big openings make it easy to clean. I'm happy with this purchase

You’re kidding me, right?
I don’t know how this cage has any, ANY negative reviews! I mean, you’re kidding me with this cage!!First, I put this together by myself in about 10 minutes flat without using any instructions. It’s very straight forward and common sense— especially if you’ve ever put together a wire bird cage before. Super easy and pretty much the same concept as any other. The amount of space is HUGE for a small bird, you simply cannot find a cage this big at this price anywhere else. The amount of room allows for some flight, which is wonderful for a bit of enrichment while the bird spends time in their cage.It has many amazing features. 4 covered bowls, a swing, several doors of various sizes, and a very convenient pull-out tray for easy cleaning. Though they kindly include dowel perches in this cage, I would recommend replacing them with something else since birds’ feet aren’t meant to perch on smooth dowels like that. It’s kind of akin to the discomfort a person might feel stepping up a metal bunk bed ladder and trying to grip it without shoes. It doesn’t feel great for them to grip something that slippery, either. They much prefer textures such as the lava rock perches, rope perches, natural branch perches, etc.Fortunately, my cage did not come with any bent or detached bars, but I can understand how that could easily happen in transit. Its just the nature of ordering things online and having them shipped. If it does happen to yours, don’t panic! It would be easily and cheaply remedied with zip ties, and if you buy a matching color to your cage, you won’t even notice them. Finally, as for quality, I think it’s great for your smaller breed birds. Listen, I’ve owned many a bird cage in my life, from expensive to cheap, for my smaller breeds (think budgie, cockatiel, parrotlet, lovebird sizes). They ALL have had this same type of wire of the same gauge. It’s pretty standard. Yes, it can bend and welds can come undone if it’s forced enough, but this cage is not bad quality. It’s simply meant for smaller breed birds, so it’s thinner wiring. Those who say it’s flimsy must be comparing it to the much sturdier cages for larger birds. The bars on those are thicker and stronger out of necessity to support the weight of the bird that will perch and climb on it, and also because of the beak strength that could break through certain wiring. Those cages are also exponentially more expensive than this.If you’ve got a smaller bird of cockatiel size or less, I really don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this cage. I read the negative reviews and took a chance because of the awesome price, I’m so glad I did. This cage is a bargain!

Nice cage, but parts missing
this is a nice large, tall cage, good enough for my conure, but it arrived with parts missing -- ie, the top section of the feeding bowls.
