These really do the trick and are very durable and easily cleaned by putting in the dishwasher

For ages, I've been looking to buy the non-scratch scourers that come with cleaning pastes, like Green Bear or Ecoegg. I think the sponges are part of the reason those products work so well, but can't find the exact same ones anywhere. These are the closest thing I've been able to find and am quite pleased so far (but see last bit below). They are quite versatile, in between a sponge and a scourer: not as absorbent as a sponge, and not as heavy duty as a scourer. They do a decent job as a scourer for many jobs, and are non-scratch. It's only for the really heavy duty stuff that I need a proper scourer. They're useful for washing up, cleaning baths, sinks etc. For what they are, they're quite expensive, but also last a lot longer than any other sponges or scourers I've had, and no annoying bits coming off. At least, until they start coming apart, then they do start loosing pieces, but a lot less than other sponges. They're not quite as durable as I'd hoped for the price, with regards to how well they hold together: you have to be careful not to use them with sharp or protruding edges. But: am still on my first 2 after 9 months, so they are good value for money.. As to their hygiene and non-smelling properties, am a lot more convinced now than I was at first. I make sure to let them dry out well between uses, and shake the water out, rather than squeezing or wringing, which I think helps them last longer. Little hairs do tend to get stuck in them, but otherwise, they don't trap any dirt or debris, and don't smell at all, even after this long, and use them regularly. I use one for cat bowls and similar jobs, although do soak and rinse before scrubbing. If not rinsed well after use, they do smell, but the smell is easily removed again by a hot rinse. The scrub daddy looks to be the only sponge I can find, which is exactly what I was looking for, and these are not as "scrubby", but far cheaper.. and last longer. So while it's not exactly what I wanted, am very happy with them, and would buy again and recommend.

Bought this as an alternative to - or at least to supplement - the usual combination sponge & scouring pad that we usually use for dishes and pans in the kitchen. The main issue I have with the sponges is that they become dirty quickly and the scouring pad in particular gets clogged with food particles and tears away from the pad quite easily. In that respect, this silicone pad is excellent as it is easily rinsed and almost no dirt remains in it.Pros: hygienic as easy to clean so can be reused many more times than a sponge; effective at removing most softer food residue, smears, grease, crumbs etc; durable - if used with caution around sharp knives; fair value for x3 packCons: doesn't absorb washing up liquid as well as a sponge; not quite as effective on dried on stains as a standard scouring pad; somewhat stiff material means it is slightly more awkward to use than a sponge on curved items; can be torn quite easily by sharp or serrated knives

Bought two packs of these, one for ourselves and one for our Daughter, these are ok and do a fairly decent job, like the idea of throwing them in the washer, ( we don't have a dishwasher ) but these don't last three months as claimed, we will be lucky if they last two months each,On the whole they are just OK. better than the germ ridden sponges that are available.Having said that, I have just re-ordered as they work out slightly more reasonable than the sponges.Our Daughter was NOT impressed with hers, she has a dishwasher and puts the sponge in for cleaning but finds they disintegrate just about the same as ours does, she definitely wouldn't use again.

Lasts for ages and so easy to clean. Fabulous item.

We bought these to be more environmentally friendly, and are well pleased.Only used one so far as durability is good.They clean up well.

I only received TWO pads instead of THREE so they work out dearer obviously.They are ok but won't remove hardened food from pans.I did look for 'contact seller' on my order but as of yet it hasn't appeared.

Not useful at all. Went in the bin.
