Ultra Hardware 96121 Shelf Brackets, Grey

These worked really well for me. I used these to mount a wood shelf above my washer and laundry sink. These were installed in 2016 and they ar going strong in 2020.Although description indicates they come in different colors I could only order gray. Now that I’ve finished my laundry room update (a lot of water issues in the adjacent rooms had to be repaired first) I will paint these white so that they blend in with the other shelving brackets in the room. I’m hoping a light sand, primer coat and enamel spray paint does the trick.The downside for me was the color and there were more than I’d ever need. These work really well so I guess I can use them in my garage.In spite of the color I am happy with my purchase.

As others have reviewed before me, they state they not the best looking; however, I tend to side on the opposite spectrum of that statement. They compliment a storage room as well as garage quite nicely; they add an "industrial" look to the areas. Yes, you can paint them a different color, but I say to save the paint and keep them the way they came.Five stars for the quality. Many before me have stated they are flimsy; however, they may not have placed these on studs (highly recommended) as well as make it so the brackets LENGTH is parallel to the stud on the wall. This will ensure that they will keep a load and will not bow outwards due to the stabilization against the wall.I ordered a package of TWO of these shelves and so far have used them in my storage area as well as garage. So far, no problems.

OK, I don't know how, but I got this pack of 20 on prime for ~15 bucks. Given that, they are pretty awesome. But, they are rated for 55 lbs, it is not clear if this is for a pair or a singleton. Maybe I installed wrong (has a 6" arm and an 8" arm, I put 6" against the wall and used with a 10" MDF shelf. With a 30-35lb load (center weighted, not like all the force is going on the outside lip of the shelf), the shelf bends, springily, away from the wall maybe 5-10 degrees.I mean it holds, but I wouldn't put anything 55 lbs and valuable on it

I used these brackets to put up in my broom closet so I can put up shelves as the brackets I had had fallen off. I put them up myself and had no problems putting them up. My broom closet is rather small, so I am trying to maximize the space and putting in shelves would help me do that.You do get a lot so maybe I will give some to friends or I may create a shelf in my walk-in closet or living room! Don't get me started on DIY projects... :)

These are pretty good brakcets. They are easy to install and pretty sturdy. They do give a little when pushed, so I'm not sure how much weight they can actually hold before starting to bend. Luckily I only needed them to hold some small shelves in my shed and garage so they should work fine for me.

My shelves were a bit longer than are appropriate for these but they still hold up. Much cheaper than hardware stores but same quality. Not frills plainness of them make the shelves do the work of looking good and make the bracket easy to put up.

Lots of questions about how many come in this package, I ordered the 6×8 ones, I received a set of 20 of them. Only I wish they had was the hardware to hang them.

Save your self time and money and read this. Grey ones are the cheapest on the market. If you want black, you have to pay 40$ - 60$ more. But I just spray painted these black and they came out beautiful. As you can see in the picture, they hold tons of weight. That's over 500 dvds .Just make sure you find the studs.Use a magnetic stud finder. 8$ and will last a lifetime and makes finding studs so easy.
