Anubis, the Egyptian god with the head of a jackal, is one of my favorites among the ancient Egyptian gods for his symbolic meanings and his powerful look. Fusing the original spirit of Anubis iconography into an extremely modern shape was my leading goal in the design of this ring. I have been drawn since childhood to ancient Egypt. With its immensely powerful pharaohs and a pantheon of fascinatingly named hybrid gods, this world represented for me a byword of mystery, esotericism, adventure and great treasures.
