Easycamp Waterproof Wimberly Drive Away Awning Tent, Grey, One Size

Great awning, plus has so many ways to connect to the van! Which is perfect as we don’t have a track fitted to ours. The ground sheet is not sewn in, That’s it’s ONLY downfall. Other than that it’s fab! Thank you.

We have just used the Easy Camp Wimberly awning for the first time. The instructions for putting it together a minimal - it references a colour coding for the three poles to ensure you put the right one in the right place - there was no colour coding so we put the middle pole in the wrong place to start with. Also the ground sheet is supposed to be sewn in...GROUND SHEET IS IS NOT SEWN IN AS ADVERTISED! It is held in place by flimsy clips and some Velcro - we wanted to buy the sewn in ground sheet as we have a dog and wanted to keep her inside the tent on the campsite with us...the gaps in the Velcro allowed her to burrow out on a regular occasion which was VERY annoying.The awning is also advertised as being waterproof..IT IS NOT WATERPROOF!!!! On the roof where the string bows tie around the two cross bars water collects and then drips inside the tent. If we had been sleeping in there then the beds would be wet. As it was we had several obvious pools of water on the ground sheet..Overall really disappointed with this product - for £250 we feel its not worth the money...not if you have a dog or live in the UK where it is wet!

Very big, good quality materials and very practical for any campervan. However when putting up, make sure someone with knowledge of putting up tents and some extra hands are there because the instructions are just awful. Practice in a big garden or park before going away with it.

Was not suitable for when wet as ground sheet is not sewn in allowing draughts and water in .Constantly mopping out during wet periods

The awning is very good but the main reason I picked this awning was it was advertised as having a sewn in groundsheet when it arrived found out it was not sewn in but toggles to fasten it very disappointed

auvent correct : toile, arceaux, élastiques, tendeursmoyen : tapis de sol un peu juste pour les rebords. coutures, étanchéité moyenne avec la rosée qui stagne sur le auvent mais il pleut pas dedans, on a pris un gros orage de montagne et il a pas bougé. utilisé sans chambre (optionelle)prévoir 6 grosses sardines pour fixer le auvent, celles d'origines sont trop faibles.prévoir aussi un petit tapis de sol (1m*2) pour faire la jonction entre l'auvent et la voiture.bilan : auvent correct, très vaste, pratique. a customiser pour plus de praticité274€ sur amazon

Wir haben das Easy Wimberly schon vor Wochen gekauft ,leider war das Wetter immer gegen uns, es mal aufzubauen. Jetzt aber unser test.Als erstes sollte man es nicht allein versuchen.Es gibt eine Anleitung in der Tasche. Auch wenn das Bild es einfach aussehen läßt, ist es beim ersten mal etwas zum experementieren. Im You Tube gibt es unter Easy camp eine Anleitung mit einem identischen Zeltyp .Beim zweiten versuch war es dann ganz leicht.Wir haben 2 Karpfen liegen reingetellt(2mx85),immer noch genug Platz für Tisch usw. Wir würden das Zelt (verpackt ca die größe einer kleinen Reisetasche) jedem weiterempfehlen .Für 2 Personen groß genug,sehr hell ,Fenster lassen sich schnell und leicht verschließen der Anbau an Van & Co einfach,hat eine gute Belüftung.Was ich vermisse ist eine Empfehlung, es weiter auszubauen,es gibt genug Halterungen,die vermuten lassen,noch eine Schlafkabine als Trennwand zu integrieren.Wo bekommt man das dazu auch auf der Home Seite nichts gefunden,das Zelt allein ist echt gut,für seine größe nicht schwerer alls eine volle Reisetasche,alle 5 Sterne dafür.

L'auvent s'est déchiré aux coutures après une nuit de pluie : l'eau a formé une cuvette, sur le tissu détendu par l'eau (malgré la surveillance active des haubanages, tendus au max) et les arceaux n'ont pas réussi à maintenir le tout. le sas de commucation entre le T5 WV et l'auvent fonctionne aussi mal. Difficile de le fixer, et le frottement permanent du tissu contre la carosserie a fini par rayer celle-ci. Après trois semaines de vacances, l'auvent est donc bon à mettre à la poubelle. Très déçue.

Schon beim Aufbau hat man bemerkt, dass es nicht die beste Qualität ist (bei diesem Preis erwarte ich kein Premium Produkt - es sollte aber trotzdem eine Gewisse Qualität da sein).Leider hatten wir beim ersten Regenschauer das Zelt nass. Die Wände sind sehr dünn und es hat an den Nähten reingeregnet. Auch der Aufbau des Zeltes an sich hat uns nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Es besteht nur aus einem Überzelt und aus einem Boden den man reinhängt. Leider kann man den Boden nur mit ein paar Klettverschlüssen anbringen, sodass dazwischen Lücken entstehen. Bei Wind löste sich das ganze Teilweise.Die Rücksendung hat einwandfrei geklappt, vielen Dank!
