Broke after 6 months, get something more expensive that’s sturdier.
All good, then randomly broke. Was a Gift for husband, not great.

Sound quality is strange but acceptable, there are BT auto-connect issues
Sound quality is better than some other transmitters. This could be my phone or *something* else, but the music has noticeable bass and not that much treble (so I have to max that out on the car stereo to make it sound good). Setting volume to max (30) is a terrible idea because the music crackles then, but if it's too quiet there's static. 27 is the max before the crackling begins. There's interference with the car I tested this with (some minivan Toyota 2004 one, clearly I do not care). There isn't any when the car engine isn't running and the issue is not isolated to this model, so not knocking down too many points for this.Controls are OK.What I don't get is why half the time this damn thing just DOES NOT CONNECT. If the transmitter is booted up with the car from a cold start everything seems to work, but if you leave the car for a little bit then come back it can't connect and only works manually.

Installing is hard but once done, you are set
Installing was the semi hardest bit (Only because I didnt know how to.)If you dont know how to install it, you plug it into the smoker slot in your car. Hold the button until it flashes and when it does, change it to the FM you want it to be on.On your car, tune the car's fm to the fm you set on the product and they will be synced. There are two slots for you to charge your phone or connect a USB for music (I dont know how to use the USB for the music because I dont have one).Connect via bluetooth to the device beginning with HK and a couple of numbers after it (I forgot what mine is but it should be the only one with HK)Once connected, that's it. Installing is done and it auto connects to your device. You pair it with another phone, the current phone must be disconnected from the product and repeat the pairing. There will be some statics under ground but they dont last long. If you're listening to something, you wont hear it. Mess around with it.

Prefect adapter - exactly what I was looking for (but not very robust)
Seems to have a stronger FM signal than my previous devices, so this is less affected by all the dozens of pirate stations on the FM wavelengths around London - i.e. no interference, good solid signal on my car radio.Works well and easily installed and configured. Dual UBS ports power my phone and the dashcam.UPDATED: Dec 2020.I've just bought my third one of these, so clearly it has exactly the functionality I'm looking for. I have dropped one star because they're not really very robust. The first one unscrewed itself and dropped the middle pin into the cigarette lighter unit and blew the fuse on that circuit. The second one came detached at it hinge, so while it carried on working it was dangling by the wires. If your car cuts off the cigarette lighter when you remove the keys, you probably won't have any problems. My car keeps power to the cigarette lighter, so it gradually flattens the battery if I leave it plugged in. Shame about that.

Good value for money, amplifies phone and tablet sound onto car radio
Ups:Plug it in, pair via bluetooth, adjust volume as you like, all easy, Vol dial great as not buttons but dial that makes it much easier to use.Downs:If turned up to max level that is sometimes required it produces an extra high pitched sound, but we worked around it. The other buttons are a bit fiddly. I haven’t found out how to BT pair once it failed without un-/re-plugging it.

Perfect for my needs :-) Great value.
I bought this for music and hands free calls and it works like a dream. I like the switching music tracks function and it’s easy to answer a call with a quick press. The only real drawback is that when I remove the item, I have to be very careful not to pull out the socket because the product has a very strong grip on the socket when plugged in. No issues at all with sound quality although if the product is plugged in, it does interfere with the radio, so it must be unplugged to use other radio stations in my experience.Overall, I’m very pleased with this for the price and I’m looking at getting one for my partner now.

Ok for music, poor for everything else.
Good item, easy to use and get going. I have given this 3 stars for a couple or reasons, firstly when this is plugged in it causes other stations such as kiss fm capital and radio one to be fuzzy and break up a lot. As it comes with USB ports it's sometimes handy to use this to charge a phone but you want to listen to standard radio. Secondly the products microphone is useless, your phone connects to this device when you enter the car and any calls etc nobody can hear you. The person on the other side consistently says "hello are you driving, all I can hear is noise?"Lastly there is a perpetual sort of beeping when used to play music which is masked when the music is loud but at first I thought the car was making weird sounds.Generally product works OK, I wouldn't buy them again however.

Fair enough
Signal sound questionable but it could just be some technical issues unknown to me ...🤷🏾♂️But all the same product is fit for purpose 👍🏿
