Excellent filter with high gph fuel flow. Don't worry about starving your engine.
I've seen some folks worry that the spec for their original engine fuel filter is 20 microns and this is a 10 micron one. Their reasoning is that a finer filter (10 micron) will restrict fuel flow and starve their engine. Yes, that seems logical on the surface, but this filter has more surface area to improve flow, while still providing a superior 10 micron filtration. These flow the same amount per hour as the 20 micron filters, which is something around 90 gph. My boat has a 44 gallon fuel tank and there is no way in the world my engine could empty it in half an hour. This is a great filter and there is no need to worry about it starving your engine.
