If you like it hot, you will love these dried habanero flakes. Just a smidge is all you need for they are quite hot enough with just a little. Do not make the same mistake I made and put some on your finger and test them. Your tongue will swell, your lips will swell, and you may get nauseous. Phew, they really do the job! If you are like me and enjoy some heat to spice up your dishes. Enjoy! But be careful.

I bought both the Ghost Peeper flakes and the Habanero flakes to season, well, everything I eat. The benefit of these spices is they can add a lot of heat without altering the flavor too much like adding pickled jalapeños does. The ghost peppers are good but can be easily over done. With the Habanero flakes you don't have as high a chance of getting 'hot spots', places that get a few flakes where other bites had no flakes. That happens with the Ghost Peppers. But with the Ghost Peppers a little bit goes a long way, so the whole container will last a long time. Just the right amount of spice. This goes well with everything. Pizza, chicken, beef, pork. When making dipping sauces, I love to put this in it. Making garlic chili oil? Why not? What do you have there? Let’s add some habanero flakes. Tastes like it is missing something. Let’s add the habanero flakes. I can make this at home but this saves so much time. I have one at home, in my car, at work and one in my bag at all times. I think I may need more. Hahaha

This product is hot enough. The holes on the package are maybe a bit too small, but workable. My main issue for not giving 5 stars is the fact that there's a lot of spice particles in with the flakes. Normally that wouldn't even be an issue, but it causes some of the most violent sneezing I've ever done in my life.

This pepper is very good on everything. I cook with it. I dash it on. These flakes are much hotter--and more flavorful--than ordinary supermarket hot pepper flakes. I had always wanted my supermarket crushed red pepper to be more--to be hotter, to be more flavorful. These habanero pepper flakes are what I was looking for.

I started off with a gift set of different flavors but found out that this is the perfect heat. Some of the flavors were too mild and others too spicy. I add these flakes now on everything I used to use red pepper for. Some of the things I use this on are noodles, pizza, meat and salad. If you enjoy spicy this is a nice heat but not overwhelming like a ghost pepper.

Man what a difference in heat from normal "Red Pepper" flakes I have bought at the local grocery store. They have that traditional smokey habanero taste, and the heat you obviously wanted if you purchased these!My favorite use for these is sprinkling these on top of a pizza, then drizzle one cap of Silver Leaf "Ghost Pepper Olive Oil" per slice of pizza! By the 3rd piece of pizza, your sinuses will be open, and the bottom of your nose and upper lip slightly numb without ever having a burning sensation in your mouth/throat. The combination just creates a slow numbing without the burning sensation with a great taste.

I have ordered this twice. I love to make my food hot but I do not like to have vinegar in it ( vinegar is in most hot sauces). This is perfect. HOT but no flavor.
