I absolutely love them! So good to see those in my daughter's hair. Reminds me of my childhood. The pastel colours are a plus. Love them!!

Still can't fathom why I have to find barrettes across the continent but it is just what I have been in search of. Buy it!

Item exactly as I remember when I was a child. They work much better than the new hair clips they are selling these days, especially for children with fine hair.

Love these! I remember wearing these as a little girl, and now my little girl is wearing them. They hold fine hair well, but my two year old can pull them out... that is not the fault of the barrettes though. Very cute!

I've been looking for plastic barrettes that clip closed because the alligator clips and bendy metal type I'm seeing everywhere don't stay in my daughter's hair. These do stay in her hair but the colors are flat and "off" - tomato red, dark red, pepto pink, a Limey green bordering on light avocado, turquoise, banana yellow, and white. Also, I thought the molds would be of ribbons and flowers, but many are quirky animal shapes - two sets of cats playing a banjo, and one set of jackrabbits. Maybe these are surplus from the fifties. My daughter doesn't seem to care, but I wouldn't have bought these if I'd seen them in a store.

Meh. These are definitely not like the barrettes I had growing up, which is what I expecting since they were the same brand and look they same. These DO NOT hold my daughters fine hair at all. They're very flimsy and don't close very securely. They look cute for the 5 minutes she wears them though.

These are the exact same ones me and my sister used to wear in the 80s. It's just what I'd been looking for for my girls. The new cheap ones arent' worth the 2 dollars they cost. These cute vintage barettes have the same quality I remember from my own youth. The price tag was a little more than what I would have wanted to pay, but well worth it to get what I was looking for.

I remember wearing these when I was little. After frustrating experiences with every other type of barrette available, I finally ordered these for my fine-haired daughter. I'm so glad I did! They actually stay in her hair, and they don't break her hair off when I take them out! They're definitely not as high-quality plastic as they used to be, but as long as I'm careful when I take them out I think it'll be okay.

This is the only Barrette that stay in my daughters fine hair. These are impossible to find in stores locally, happy to get them on Amazon. Also, these are the same style and designs that I had in the late 70's.

These barrettes are just as I remembered them from my childhood! I bought these after struggling to keep my young toddlers hair out of her face and these have worked wonderfully. They snap closed tightly and will hold in fine/thin hair very well. My daughter jumps and does rolls and they stay put! The only downside is the can be a little hard to open.

Just like they used to be. I kind of wish there was a larger selection of colors, or maybe a package of just the bows. They always go missing before the rest because they get used the most. My one-year-old has long, fine hair and these keep her shaggy bangs out of her mouth and eyes, but she sometimes pulls them out.

I used to wear these barrettes when I was young. Now I'm a 43 year old mother of boys, but purchased these to help keep my (male) doodle's hair out of his eyes when we are working on training. These hold up well and do not slip out of his hair like dog barrettes do. He may look a little goofy, but I like them and they stay in!

Cute, functional, actually stay in ny daughter's fine hair. Exactly like I remember them from when I was little.
