Works well
This works well for my sealing wax projects.My only concern is that it is made of wood. Wood and fire rarely mix without some sort of combustion.It sure beats trying to heat the wax over a direct flame.Oh, the problems I have...NOT.

Very useful but not durable
The base came cracked along the side and as I use it the wood seems to be cracking more and more. Also, the spoon is not a good quality it keeps coming unscrewed from the handle. On the flip side it makes heating the wax beads easy and the grip on the spoon handle is comfortable and makes it easy to pour without spilling.

Faulty craftsmanship
My issues are with the quality of the spoon. The actual head of the spoon is too deep, causing the wax to melt unevenly, but most importantly - There is where the head screws into the handle is made of soft wood, instead of metal. The groove lost its shape very quickly, and within only an hour of gentle use the metal head fell out, and is unable to screw back into the deformed hole of the handle.
