Incredible value for money
Ok so I wanted to get into asiatic horsebows after using traditional recurves for about a year, and I’ve had this for about an hour and a half and had to stop shooting due to the weather.Right first of all, For £50 this is insanely good value for money, It’s pretty enough, the materials are obviously cheap but the design is great, not the biggest fan of the tips where the string is seated is just a straight hole drilled through however. It works brilliantly, I got the #40 version which is #10 above my old bow, and it’s great, arrow fly brilliantly and excellent speeds, I’ve never used a bow by shooting off the hand before and in less than 50 arrows I was able to hit my target board reliably from about 20ft. The one single issue I have with this bow is that it is not comfortable, I was wearing a glove on my bowhand and even through that the hand shock and grip has left a red weld on my hand, It’s not very comfortable at all, I’m going to rehandle it with some thicker leather maybe and a cord wrap, but that is the only downside, It is great great fun to use, I’d recommend getting a low poundage one for starting out if new to horsebows / archery especially as the #40 one hurts my hand a decent amount.Positives:#Looks great#Insanely cheap £50 for a bow, glove and bracer is stupidly cheap ( both are pretty well made by the way, the glove’s a bit small but the bracer is great )#Incredibly fun to shoot, very powerful and lively#Well made, no issues in build quality (except the cheap materials which can’t be helped)Negatives:#Hurts your hand after a couple of shots as the grip isn’t comfortable ( should be easily fixable, I’m going to cord wrap and then leatherwrap the handle over the original one for extra padding.)#Quite a lot of hand shock due to cheaply wrapped grip.If you’re looking for a cheap asiatic horsebow on a budget, look no further!

Excellent bow
This bow exceeded my expectations. I can't believe I got it at this price. Firstly I ordered the 50lb pull version, a little difficult to string but what power! This thing could bring down anything, dear, horses, armored warriors... maybe even an elephant.. for more gentle practice at short ranges you only have to draw it back a couple of inches, took a few shots to get used to it at first, found it pulled to the right slightly but after adjusting for that found it as accurate as my sports target bow.. probably more so when I've got more used to it. The thing is just so beautiful too, truly elegant.. it's hard to believe that something so light can have such awesome power. The wrist brace that comes with it is quite pretty and certainly adequate and the finger protectors are excellent....just can't believe that a thing of such power, grace and beauty can be available for less than £100 and delivered the next day...truly we live in an age of marvels.

Surprisingly good :)
So, I honestly thought this was gonna be crap. For 70 quid it's actually bloody brilliant. I went for the 50 pound draw weight which was probably a mistake, given that i'm used to practising with 30 pound bows. Stringing it for the first time was a bit of a fiasco (probably because i'm an idiot more than anything else) and the difference in power was a bit much at first but now I've had a few weeks to get used to it, works like a charm. I'm using proper wooden shaft, steel hunting tip arrows with turkey feather flights and they absolutely demolished the foam target I was using so if you're using similar arrows I would suggest a sturdier target rather than foam. My first shot went straight through the 5 layer foam block and buried itself in the wooden frame behind it. Using lighter practice arrows with plastic flights doesn't really work too well for higher draw weight bows either so it's worth bearing in mind before you buy.The only real complaint I have is that the arm brace and glove that come with it are a bit pants, so I got a decent bracer (in picture)that covers the full forearm and protects the back of your thumb for 20 quid and a better shooting glove for about a tenner (both easy to find on amazon). All in all i'm really pleased with this bow so far, the only real test left is reliability and durability which only time will tell.Definitely worth the asking price :)

Really good 🏹
Really lovely bow. I ordered the 40 which is probably a bit strong for me, but it is manageable and I'm hoping to build my strength up over time. It shoots really well and is easy enough to use.It is rather difficult to string and unstring, it's probably a two man job unless you've got some real muscle! But it seems to have gotten easier with a few tries.Another probablem (not with the bow specifically) is that arrows do leave a mark on the leather grip. But these have rubbed off so far and I recently covered the grip with some clear tape, just to stop this. All in all a great bow!

Arco mongolo

Thank you kindly
Loved everything about it, though would recommend adding a notice about needing to string the bow once delivered.
