Wrong remote?
Impressive for a 720p projector, small, lightweight, and less noise on the fan, plug and play to HDMI.It has its apps, Wi-Fi setup, and mirroring capability (I haven't tested it yet).My review is for using the HDMI only. The projector has manual sharpness adjustment, a keystone that auto-adjusts upon turning on, and a manual adjustment option, which is the best in this projector. The fan is emitting a chemical smell and is noisy so I suggest keeping a distance on the projector. The projector speaker is just fine but plugging in an external speaker or soundbar is better. The screen edges are blurry but you will not notice it once the movie starts playing. This projector is not good for small letters as you will not be able to read it.The color display is fine as well, but I can't find the picture settings, like brightness, contrast, and color adjustments so I think they included a different version of the remote control as the remote on the manual is different from the actual. My son loves the projector so I recommend this product to try.

Shockingly great for the price and tiny!
The media could not be loaded. The TL;DR is: This is a shockingly great little projector for the price! A detailed review follows...Some context: I have been watching TV on a video projector for over three decades. My first projector was a Sharp that cost $3000 and made dim images at lower resolution than VHS videotape, but I've used dozens of much better projectors since then both at home and in my work (I'm a computer engineering professor). My current main home video projector is a rather serious InFocus home theater projector for which I just bought a new bulb -- and an OEM replacement bulb for it costs twice as much as this projector. This mini projector is able to do the same 130" diagonal projected image size as my InFocus with surprisingly comparable brightness and OK contrast! The image quality is notably poorer for this tiny projector, both in resolution and smoothness of tonal gradations, but the difference isn't obvious until you do direct side-by-side comparisons -- unless you are displaying fine text. For fine text, the truth is that native 720P just isn't enough. Via HDMI, this unit identifies as 1080 resolution, but I found that 720, 1080, and 2160 (4K) resolutions all were accepted and interpolated to 720 fairly well.To compare image quality with my InFocus, I didn't hook up an HDMI source. Instead, I configured the 5GHz network connection to my home router and used the built-in Chrome browser to play some music videos from YouTube. Note that many apartment buildings only provide 5GHz WiFi, so it is significant that this is not limited to 2.4GHz. Unlike my InFocus, this tiny projector has a fairly rich app environment built in (even better than most TV sets have), and even using the Chrome browser (rather than the built-in YouTube app) videos played nicely. Although the ad says 1GB+8GB storage is in the unit, mine says it has 16GB. I expected this little unit to get hot after running for a while, but it barely felt warm. Incidentally, the power cable is just a two-prong AC power cord -- there isn't a "wall wart" or external power supply to lug around. The photos in the ad give a pretty good feel of what this unit looks like, so I will not post my own versions. The video here was shot in a brightly lit room showing a relatively small projected image, but the point isn't the image -- it is the fact that you can see this little unit automatically correcting keystoning! Again, that's not something my InFocus does automatically. The downside here is that this correction can hide misalignments that may result in poorer sharpness near the screen edges. To be clear, this is NOT a match for my InFocus or other serious home theater projectors in image quality. There are also several other relatively minor ways in which this falls short:1. The unit comes in a not particularly attractive fairly generic box and includes only the tiniest of fine-print instruction sheets. It was fine for shipping, but it isn't a box you'd use to store & carry the unit around, which is unfortunate given how portable this unit is. The instructions are almost useless.2. The included remote control works fine but didn't come with the 2 AAA batteries it needs.3. The fan in this little unit is pretty loud -- actually louder than the one in my InFocus. You get used to it, but it might be too loud for using this as a 24/7 digital signage projector. The fan is also notably louder than either of the other two mini projectors I have (although those mini projectors are nowhere near as good as this one overall).4. The built-in speaker can get loud enough, but the sound quality is a little disappointing. Perhaps it would be much better if used to drive an external speaker via the headset jack? Honestly, the sound quality on my little HP laptop is way better than the built-in speaker here, so you might just use the audio output from your laptop if you are feeding an HDMI signal to this projector.5. The pivoting base adjusts the projection angle in steps, not continuously. Those angular steps are a bit larger than I'd like when trying to position a big projected image precisely.6. Like most projectors, this unit doesn't include any HDMI or other input/output cables. However, this unit is better than most projectors at accepting content wirelessly...OK, so it's got a bunch of minor issues. Still, I literally could buy 50 of these for what my one InFocus cost and this unit beats my InFocus in various features and has image quality that isn't obviously worse unless compared side-by-side or projecting fine text.In sum, I would not recommend this for a big display of fine text, and it is probably worthwhile to spend more on a projector for a dedicated home theater, but this is a stunningly great choice if you just want a projector you can pull out for occasional use, such as watching a sporting event or playing video games. It is absolutely viable for watching movies too, and can give you that theater feel in terms of having a huge display on a blank wall, but the built-in speaker isn't going to impress anybody.
