Dutailier Adele 0337 Wood Glider Chair and Ottoman, White/Light Grey

I purchased this chair for my daughter and her husband's first baby. Both are tall and I wanted them to be able to relax while rocking baby. I read many reviews myself before deciding on this one. So glad I did! I am finally here and able to rock my grandson myself. This chair is Super Good Quality! Very Comfy, smooth gliding and my son in law said it was easy & quick to assemble! I definitely wanted the foot glider with it since you can easily kick your feet up and glide with baby. Many hours have already been spent rocking away the midnight hours.. So if your looking for a perfect chair look no further....this one will not disappoint!!

We now own 3 Dutalier Glider Rockers. The oldest is nearly 30 years old. They are very comfortable. One of the assembly screws was damaged on arrival. Fortunately we had an extra screw on hand or it would have been dead on arrival. Our oldest chair is the sturdiest and has the most durable finish. The newer ones seem to be more cheaply made, but so far they have not failed. The directions are a bit sparse, but they are not overly complex to assemble.... 8 screws and two velcro strips for the arm pads. The arm pads like to move around because they do not actually attach to the wooden armrests. The old chair has button snaps.Shipping was UPS and very quick. Well packaged. All in all we greatly enjoy our chairs.

I've wanted a nice glider for years, when my husband offered to get me a nice one as my 48th birthday gift I was thrilled. I did a search on Top 10 gliders and Dutailier's reviews are excellent. I'm so glad I chose this one, the dark brown is beautiful (brown is actually my favorite color in the right shades), this one is lovely! We put it together in only a few minutes, it really was easy. I finally got to sit down in it and I'm fairly sure my exact words were "Oh my God, this is amazing, it's like gliding on feathers" It was such a soft easy glide and absolutely the best gift I've ever gotten. If you were considering buying one I would let you come sit in mine so you can fall in love with it. I'm kidding, no I won't, but trust me.

I am very happy with this glider. It came weeks earlier than expected, was simple to set up, and is very comfortable! I took one star off because the color of the wood stain was not obvious from the description or the picture. I could tell it was dark, but I had hoped it would be more of a cherry wood color; It is black. Still beautiful, just doesn’t match the cherry wood piano in my front room as well as I had hoped. All that being said, it is beautiful and comfortable!

The only thing I had a concern about was where the arm parts connected to the seat which made the width a little tight. I am 5 feet tall(which was perfect for me but I weigh 230. So that's the only problem. I wish the seat was wider. Overall it's very comfy and was very easy to put together. So I would recommend this for people who are a little thinner and not too tall.

Fits well for taller individuals, without being so large that shorter individuals can't use it.We have a height disparity, so we often suffer from "Goldilocks and the 3 Bears" problems with furniture. This fit better for a 6'2" individual than a 5'2" individual, but the shorter person just had to put an additional pillow behind them to be comfortable.Will likely keep the chair after the baby is grown. It's extremely comfy, quiet, and easy to assemble.Assembly - The major components come pre-assembled. IIRC, it came in about 4-6 larger pieces. Wood assembled easily, and I think I spent more time putting the cushions on.

This chair is excellent. It looks very nice and is very comfortable. It is making those long nights soothing a new baby much easier.

I’d buy this glider again and again! Great well made product and SO comfortable! Great for the all through the night feedings with baby. I recommend to everyone and should the need arise that I need another, I’ll buy the same one!
