Great for areas where no plug for lamp cord
I could not find a cordless lamp large enough for my living area. Bought a lamp, cut the cord and installed one of these bulbs. Perfect!

Awesome cordless, chargeable lights. You can cut the cords!
The media could not be loaded. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of these with a cat who likes to chew on cords. I have a lamp in the office that I found the cord to have been chewed on by one of my cats. After this cat had got electrocuted from chewing on a lamp cord I was going to throw the lamp away & was telling a co-worker about it & she shared these cordless lightbulbs from Amazon with me so I had to buy them! OMG these are the best things! I cut the cord off the lamp & replaced the light bulbs with these chargeable light bulbs. I love how they can be controlled with the remote. They're chargeable by plugging them into an outlet, they screw into the light sockets very easily & give off a bright light with a couple different settings. They also come with a hook on top so you can use them in a closet making it easier to see what is inside. They’re portable so you can take them traveling with you if you need some extra light in a hotel room, camper, tent, etc. These are a must!

Just okay!
I like this idea where you don't need a corded lamp if in an area where there is no outlet. These are just okay in my opinion. They don't stay charged very long and are not very bright. If you want just an ambient light then they're okay. I prefer more brightness as am using in a larger open area of my home.

Used for a cute lamp in an entry way where there wasn’t an outlet. They stay charged for approximately 4 hours which is a good amount of time.
