Food Cutter for Kids, Green Squares

This fun by food cutter is a fun idea. It was a little hard to cut at first but once I got the hang of it it got easier. My nieces love the little small pieces. They can grab the little pieces with ease. I used it with whole wheat bread and ham and cheese.

Finally got this for my daughters sandwiches. This makes tiny little squares. It's worth the price. Easy to use and I love how it's dishwasher safe.

This works well for its intended purpose. It easily cuts through the sandwich. I haven't tried PB&J, but I have done turkey with mayo and mustard and had no problem with the contents squishing out. This by no means uses an entire slice of bread. Probably just over 2/3. Not a huge deal...I just put the rest on the plate too. Or use star cutters to cut additional shapes out of the remaining sandwich pieces. Or use this multiple times on one sandwich. It's not a necessary food tool by any means, but it makes a cute little bite sized mini-sandwich and my kids find it entertaining.Our current favorite is "peanut butter dippers" which helps solve the squishing jelly problem some people have had. We put butter and peanut butter on bread and use this tool to create the squares. Then the kids tip the bit sized pieces into jelly or honey, or just eat them plain. It's one of their favorite lunches! They love the interactive nature. And it totally solves the lunch box dilemma of a soggy sandwich by lunch time! We put Jelly in one compartment of a lunch box and the dippers in another. It's been such a great use of this tool!I couldn't really envision this before I bought it, so hopefully the attached pictures will help! Easy to dishwasher clean too. We've had this for many months and it still works as well as the day we got it. It shows no signs of wear even after repeated dishwasher washings.

I’ll try it on other sandwiches but after 1 use my first impression with a pb&j is that it kind of sucks. First it ripped the bread which was fresh and not stale, so it made the pieces super messy for my toddler. I still had to rip the pieces apart so maybe I just didn’t push hard enough though but.. And the cutter is super messy afterward and hard to clean!

Doesn’t work. I’ve tried it with peanut butter and jelly and it makes a mess. Tried it with Turkey and cheese, doesn’t cut through and makes hard go east. Also rectangle shape isn’t very efficient for maximizing use of bread. Ended up returning

Our (speed)eater can be persuaded to chew bites of a reasonable size if we use the funbites cutter.I can cut an entire serving’s worth of anything with one push-and-rock motion - and I can do it on a plastic kid plate with leaving permanent cut marks on the plate. With the FunBites cutter and a butter knife I can prep anything I want without making a huge mess or risking the safety of anyone’s fingers.It cleans up surprisingly quickly with a spray of dish soap and a quick scrub. I LOATHE doing dishes and yet cleaning this many-holed piece of plastic is less irritating to me than trying to wash a good kitchen knife by hand.In a perfect world, FunBites would release an oddly-shaped brush apparatus to let me clean all the holes at once and I would happily throw more money at them immediately, but until then I will get on with my unimpressive “soak until the next mealtime and then hurriedly scrub with a bottle brush” method.If you’re not sold yet, this company has great customer service. I had a minor issue with a product for which I reached out by email and I heard back from a real person with a real solution in just a few hours. We had a nice chat, my issue was resolved kindly and quickly, and I learned that the FunBites cutter has gone through extensive testing (beyond) it’s ability to cut your snacks).Y’all, they’ve tossed these things down flights of stairs to make sure they hold up. Idk about your fam, but that’s the sort of product durability testing we need for ALL things in our home

I was very thrilled to buy this item. The amount of time I would save cutting up sandwiches for my sensory dependant child, sign me up! I thought it would cut the sandwich up, but it doesn't have the strength. The only time it works okay is with very fresh, very soft bread and it's a PBJ. If it's a meaty sandwich or has fresh lettuce, you have to bust out a knife. I supposed I shouldn't have expected much because it's plastic and not metal but I assumed it would have a somewhat sharp edge. It doesn't have an edge though, you smash it down until squares appear.

I got the square cutter and it’s perfect for making bite-sized avocado pieces... which my kids now ACTUALLY eat!It’s also super easy to use and clean. I’ve been cutting everything from sandwiches to cheese bites with it. My kids think the little squares are so fun. It's perfect for busy moms! And the other shapes they have are so cute too like hearts and triangles!
