What to Look for in a Pair of Cycling Sunglasses? Choosing the right pair of cycling glasses that works best for you can be a challenge, considering how overwhelming it is with the high volume of designs, shapes, styles and features out there, We have compiled 4 most important elements to examine when shopping for your next pair: Fit - Fit is always key, but when comes to cycling it becomes two-fold: how the glasses fit on your face, and how they fit under your helmet. Frames with straight-back temples are the best for optimal helmet compatibility. They also allow you to effortlessly remove and replace your frames when needed. Grip - True cycling glasses will have both temple and nose grips to ensure a secure fit throughout every ride. You can count on these rubber materials to increase grip the more you sweat, maintaining precise optical alignment at all times. Coverage & Protection - The best cycling sunglasses are all about wraparound design. More wrap means more coverage and extended peripherals. It also provides ample wind and debris protection. Polarized lenses block 100% UV, cut glare and offers sparkling clarity. Lightweight - Think you’ll be fine in a pair of heavy shades? Think again! Don’t let any weight hold you back. The lighter frame will disappear unnoticed into your face and feel like they’re not even there! Why Choose ALKAI Wildkiz Cycling Glasses? Because they have all these elements! They bring full protection to your eyes when throttling at all speeds. And the bridgeless, wraparound frame offers a seamless field of view. They also feature two-position adjustable nose pads and slide-on temple tips that are constructed with a hydrophilic material for increased grip. The polarized lenses are water, oil, and dirt-resistant, which add a whole new level to optical clarity. You will always have the perfect lenses no matter what the circumstances.

Nice lenses, a little trick to the fit.
They seem great and I really wanted to like these. I really like how the frames are the lenses so there are no obstructions to view. The big problem is that the rubber nose holders just really dig into the nose and just hurt. I tried for a month to get used to these and the more I try the more pain I am in. I have let others try it and nobody like the nose pieces. I missed the return window so now unfortunately I am stuck with a great set of lenses that I simply cannot wear.Update, I tried changing the nose pieces to try to make them more comfortable. When I did I found that the they snapped to a new angled position. One properly positioned on the nose. I had no idea this could be done, but with the proper nose guard position these are some very nice sunglasses.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!!
Alkai Apollo Sport GlassesInitial Impressions:DEFINITELY WORTH THE MONEY!!I will be breaking this review into several parts. I will firstly offer my “unboxing” initial impressions perspective and then will provide updates as I put the Alkai Sport Glasses to use under a variety of conditions to include running, backpacking, kayaking and mountain biking.I will have to say that I did not pin my expectations too high when I first placed my order for these glasses based purely on the pricing being so cheap. I imagined that I would receive a product that would not be unlike that you might find at your local “big box” store which tend t be cheap in quality and feel.I was however very pleasantly surprised when 2 days later, (with prime), the glasses arrived and I noticed from the onset that my preconception was inaccurate. The packaging and presentation of the Alkai Apollo Sport Glasses is nothing short of impressive. The outer box is a sleek white box with black lettering. Upon opening the box I was shocked to find that there was a hard black case that appears to be a durable hard-molded material like canvas or Kevlar-like in nature. It has a zipper enclosure system as well. I unzipped the case and the first thing I saw was a micro-fiber type of carrying case with drawstring as well as a polishing sheet made from the same or similar material laying on top of the glasses. The glasses I got were the black and gray ones. I picked them up and I immediately knew that I was not dealing with a cheap box store mass-produced piece of junk. These glasses have a feel of good quality. They have a weight without being heavy if that makes sense. I opened them up and placed them on my face and they fit quite well. You know that you have a good quality pair of glasses when they disappear onto your face and they become a part of you in a sense. The Alkai Apollo Sport Glasses struck me as being symbiotic as they, melted right into my face and were light and comfortable. So, my initial impression is that I would hands down compare the presentation and quality to touch and feel to glasses in a much higher price bracket . The design upon first look is what I would certainly classify as sport glasses and the lenses are large enough to accommodate any outdoor, adventure based activity. I on the other hand personally would not crossover to wear these as a casual look as they are a little too large. I will check back in and update as I use these for the variety of activities I have planned for them.UPDATE:• Here is the first of several updates to this review. I have put the ALKAI Polarized Sunglasses through the first of my trials. I wore them today during my typical during the week road run. I live in coastal Virginia and it was in the 90’s today and terribly humid. The Alkai’s fit and feel were perfect ! They are light and comfortable and as I stated previously, they disappear onto my face. The polarization on them is amazing. I have worn the high end glasses many times and the Alkais held their own without doubt. It was visually crisp and clear and provided with excellent coverage for the sun. But that was not the most spectacular feature for this trial. I was skeptical about how they would perform with the extreme heat and humidity. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were very breathable so to speak. They had zero issues with fogging or condensation throughout the entirety of the run. This experience only solidified my strong opinion of these glasses.

Buy it up
These glasses aren't exactly as described. What i mean by that is, the color of the "pink' is actually purple. Other than that, which Im happy about, is the fit of these is snug and secure. Just wore them on an entire round of golf and they didn't move. I've become partial to wearing glasses that are rimless and these prove that 100%. There are no lines in the sight path and the coating on the lens should resist scratching much like big "O" company. That brand I basically owned stock in years ago and have come to find out that these look and feel much like them. Don't be afraid to try them because you wont be disappointed.

Light, comfy, open field of vision, but not a fan of the blueish tint they give everything
I was hoping that the reddish color toward the middle of the glasses (as you're looking at them from the front), would mean that they would filter blue light when looking through them (making everything look sharper), but instead it's the exact opposite...they actually make things bluer and hazy-looking. The tinted view is very off-putting to me, but they're light, comfy (after adjusting the nose pads), and allow an unobstructed field of vision (useful when playing sports), so I guess I'll put up with them 'til they break. One other con is that their curvature makes them a bit too deep, making it hard to fit them into the sunglass holder that swings out from my car's ceiling. These holders tend to be about the same size in most cars that I've driven, so this should've been taken into consideration. Overall, I find them to be meh.

These glasses are great for biking and outdoor activity
These glasses are great for biking and outdoor activity. Not the best for social situations. They are good quality and extremely functional, especially if you are a mountain biker, runner, or doing anything in the outdoors. They provide full coverage from the sun even on the sides of your head, which most sunglasses do not, but they are not the most stylish. In fact, you will not want to wear these outside of a sporty context. They are very colorful and big. If they came in all black and a smaller size, they might be more suitable for social scenarios.

Frameless polarized perfect for triathlons
Affordable polarized sunglasses without frame. Exactly what I needed for my triathlons. Glasses with a frame across the top obscure visibility when down on the aero bars. This glasses work great and cut the glare. They making coming in and out of bright sun to shade much safer than non-polarized glasses. The arms are comfortable and grippy without squeezing the sides of my head. My only complaint is the nose piece came unsnapped too easily. I may add some dab of glue to assure it doesn't come dislodged so easily.
