Got this bike last week been on 4 rides.ProsComfortable to rideBattery is good a 20 to 25 mile ride uses half charge.Easy to assemble (use the video)Motor has enough power to go uphill at about 6mph for a steep hill without pedalingConsSlow chargingHeavy bikeThe pedal assist is rough. The magnetic sensor sets motor speed no matter how you pedalI find the bike works best if you put the assist level at 1 and use the throttle for how hard you want to work.I gave bike 5 star not because it is a high end bike but it is simple sturdy and good value for the money.I am 165 lbs and the bike has enough power to have fun with 500 watt motor.If I weighed over 200 lbs + I would upgrade to the 750 watt motor but the bike is fun and good for the money.Not a fast bike about 15 mph on flat roadaverage speed and it can hit 20 going downhill but drops to 6 mph going up a steep hill.(slowest it went)I would recommend this bike as a good entry level bike.You get what you pay forWant a better bike spend more moneyUpdate1k miles and still running great

This is my first electric bike. I shopped around a lot before I made my decision. It was easy to assemble and most important was it fit me well, which was my main concern. Frame size is the most important feature of a bike and no one post frame size. My son in law bought an electric mountain bike and it was listed as a 26 inch, which is wheel size. He looked like a monkey on a tricycle it was so small. I am 6 ft and weigh 210 lbs. I got the step through because of my back issue. I ride it a lot. The tires are great and I got it to 26 MPH one day. 22-24 MPH is a breeze. I have not traveled over 10 miles, but it is a blast to ride. Very solid and heavier than I thought, which was fine. I think this bike is perfect for a tall woman. 5'7" to 6' 2" for and older guy with back problems are any problem that stops you from comfortably lifting your leg over the seat. I got the red color and it is really a great red color that stands out. Not fire engine red, a candy apple glossy red. I have had a lot of compliments on the color. My son in law ended up with a fat wheel bike with a 21 inch frame. It looks like a locomotive coming down the street. After all of my research, I am very happy with mine. Kind of a Goldie Locks story, just right. This bike is perfect for someone 5' 7" to 6' 2" tall. As far as how it compares to other electric bikes, I really do not know, but recommend the distributor lives in the US and has been in business for a while. Now that I have one, I see them everywhere, lol. Mine looks the best...I thought red was a little risky, but no problem picking it out in a sea of black ones. Even if you have owned regular bikes like most of us have, this is really different. You feel so in control and free. Bottom line is it is really fun to ride. I now have 230 miles under my belt. No problems.

This bike is AMAZING! Look no further because you have found the perfect bike. It is so well built, strong with sturdy construction. This was a gift for my husband and he is impressed. Honestly, it seems like it should have cost more than it did. We like that it has a brake light in the back and an optional headlight and taillight for when you need them. The seat is comfortable and my husband does not feel it will be necessary to change the seat out. The bike has a good and not annoying sounding horn so no need to purchase an aftermarket one. It is a seven-speed bike and you do not need more than this since it is an electric bike. It comes with five pedal assist levels which are independent of the traditional seven speeds. The display is the perfect size/brightness and is easily viewable. The initial setup to customize the bike’s digital settings the way he wanted it only took a few moments and the bike was easy to put together since it arrived 90% assembled. He likes that he can conveniently choose between using it by throttle only or peddle assist and throttle combined. If you are debating between this 500W and a lesser watt bike, we highly suggest paying a little extra and getting this one as it is essential to have the power this bike has; it is plenty for my husband who weighs 240 lbs., but he wouldn’t want less. With all this power, the brakes work excellently and he has no issues with coming to a complete and safe stop as necessary. The tire quality is also above what we had expected. I am likely this world’s pickiest person and neither of us can find a single thing that we would want changed in regards to this bike. After ordering from sohooebike we were personally contacted by them to see how they could assist us with this new bike. We have since called and texted them questions and received prompt responses. The service we have received from them is like no other and has gone beyond anything my husband and I could have expected.

This e-bike is generally of excellent quality and was fairly easy to assemble. The ride is very good and quiet. The progressive pedal assist power is adequate on hilly terrain, which was very important on my decision to purchase. The only problem I encountered during unboxing and assembly was the spacing bolt for the front fork had fallen out during shipment and it took some work to separate it enough to properly mount the front wheel/tire. Overall, this e-bike seems to be a good sweet spot between a commuter bike and mountain bike.P.S. to Jennifer re her review of 5/11. My wife had the same seat height issue as you did. I got a replacement seat pole without a shock absorber and it lowered the seat by over 1&1/2 inches. She can now get on and off her bike with no problems.
