A lot of perfection in a small case.
The Sennheiser Pro Audio Profile Wireless Handheld Microphone System is easy to understand and use. It is a complete package. Everything works as it should. The different parts fit into a small unit to carry in a common size pocket.I am truly impressed.

User Interface, Low Iphone Volume and Charging Problem were Deal Breakers
Sound quality is very good when receiver is connected to my Canon video camera via 3.5mm cable to the L/R mic input. When using with my iPhone 16 Pro, max audio volume is low, even if you crank the transmitter gain to +12, the receiver gain seems to have no effect on the volume. Using my Sennheiser ME2 lav mics while recording to my iPhone produced a tone-like background noise in the audio track. The "touch-screen only" interface for adjusting transmitter and receiver settings is awful. I would constantly scroll past what the setting I was after. The logistics of the interface just don't work well when your camera is on a tripod and the receiver is on top of the camera. The last straw for me was when one of the 4 tiny spring loaded contacts that interface with the receiver (when it is plugged into the charging case) got stuck in a fully depressed state. The receiver was dead the next day, having not charged overnight. All of my sound equipment is Pro grade Sennheiser and it is flawless. I was looking for something to work primarily with my iPhone, or when I was traveling light, so I tried the consumer grade Profile Wireless system. I will have to look elsewhere.

Sennheiser quality without breaking the bank
Extremely impressed with a construction and materials used with this product. Metal parts, not plastic, great battery life, 80 hours of record time on each individual transmitter, and the flexibility with connectors that are included in the kit is pretty amazing.

Good battery life, Good sound, Easy to use. Very functional, and useful.
The media could not be loaded. Review for the Sennheiser Profile Wireless 2:----Stuff I liked-----It's very easy to setup and get started. There is a good amount of settings, but you really can just plug it into your device and start recording without too much hassle.-It does have internal memory for the transmitters to record back up audio files.-Battery life seems as stated by Sennheiser. I got about 8 hours from each transmitter and the charging case gives a nice boost to that.-It's easy to use with multiple devices, I used it for about 8 hours straight with my PC for meetings, and recorded some videos with my Pixel 8 Pro.-Sound quality is quite good, and I liked the sound eq profile coming out of it.-The included wind covers handle about 20mph+ well.-I like that the charging case also acts as a microphone housing.-Threads on the transmitters and charging case is appreciated.-Receiver orientation auto-flip is useful and cool.---Things I did not like----I wish the rectangle wind cover could be secured onto the charging case.-The magnets are weak compared to the newest Saramonic Ultra, or DJI mic 2.-I wish the gain and mute settings for the transmitters were at the beggining of their receiver sections respectively, for quicker changes. I did like how to get into each transmitter section you swipe left or right.-Distance test revealed mixed results. I don't know how many people are going to record beyond 100m with this. But based on my tests, I don't think they should claim over 100m line of sight and not expect and signal issues.

Bulky design, and a fatal functional flaw
The media could not be loaded. I hold Sennheiser as a brand in very high regard, however, this product is a pretty big let down in a few areas. Not just a let down because of my expectations, but even when compared to other available options in the market. I'll put my conclusions first....Key conclusions:This product is competing in a very crowded space, and attempts to be differentiate itself by working as both a desktop mic, on camera mic, and cell phone mic. As a result, it ends up being "great" at none of these things. The storage case is quite large and bulky to transport around. The plastic build quality (Made in China) is a little lower than I would have expected, thought it's not awful. The build materials, coupled with the fact it is a storage case, gives it one "good side" to face the camera (in my opinion) when using as a desktop mic. The transmitters are FANTASTIC and small, much smaller than expected, and while mostly plastic the 3.5mm locking mechanism for an external lavalier is metal, AWESOME! This unit works amazing amongst 2.4GHz noise, and fantastic through walls, but completely falls apart by powerlines and electric interference (see video).Other points to note:- The receiver for on camera use is pretty nice. You can see and control transmitter recording status from the receiver, which is a fantastic feature. (in case someone accidentally turns something off)- The transmitters have both manual clips which are metal, and magnets which make placement quite easy!- The sound quality is very good in my opinion, and while it doesn't have 32-bit float recording (at the moment), when using on your phone or camera, 24-bit is the highest you will be able to record anyway.- The usb-c and lightning adapters are pretty much impossible to remove from the storage case if you don't have finger nails. The transmitters and receiver pop out with a button, but the adapters for the receiver are very hard to remove.- This transmitter and receiver combo have the BEST indoor performance of any 2.4ghz lavalier set I have used. I've used 3 different Rode sets, Boya, multiple Saramonic sets, Hollyland, and more... This works particularly well through walls.Critical failure:If you are going to be doing recording outdoors, and near any sort of power lines, this thing falls apart. I have been able to do a number of tests (as shown in the video) and determined audio distortion is 100% caused by electrical interference. I have not had this sort of drop out with any other lavalier set that I have used. Given the amount of recording I do outdoors in residential neighborhoods, cities, suburbs, etc... I can not recommend this set.
