Pop-ups, can give you the edge when carp fishing at any time of the year. They allow you to present your carp bait at any depth you wish, off the bottom, and right where the carp can see it. It could be an inch off the bottom to lift the pop-up above all your free offerings, or suspended in mid-water to intercept patrolling carp.
