So much so, that I’m purchasing multiple of this style for family this Christmas. Here's why it stands out:[SUPERIOR DESIGN]• DOUBLE THE FUNCTIONALITY: Unlike single-layered double-sided stainless-steel boards, this one offers a polypropylene (PP) side with some additional benefits you might not anticipate. It provides some much-needed give for your wrists and hands compared to solid (single-paned) stainless-steel boards and helps ensure the board stays steady during use (also, an issue with single-pane). Plus, it's still lightweight enough to be hung on the wall & slim enough to fit in the dishwasher (although, it takes so little to clean, you really don’t need to).• MODERN PATTERN: The patterned stainless-steel side is not just aesthetically pleasing, but also reduces visible wear and is easier to keep looking clean compared to solid stainless-steel surfaces. Regardless, you have a built-in-sharpener when needed!• WHEAT STRAW CONCERNS: I haven't used the wheat straw side for regular cutting yet, so I can't speak to its effectiveness there. I am aware that plastics like Melamine can leach chemicals when used in high heat applications or with acidic foods, so I am sticking to the stainless-steel side for these types of preparations until we learn more about wheat straw plastics such as this one.[FINAL VERDICT]This style of cutting board is my favorite on the market right now. The front of the box describes this as "4 colour coded chopping board set with storage case". There is no storage case, the set contains one board, and the colors likely refer to other sets you can buy to separate boards you use for meat, cheese, vegetables, etc. Some people would never chop fresh vegetables on a board that held raw meat for fear of contamination. This board is dishwasher safe, so I fully expect the bacterial load to return to zero after washing. When making something like Fajitas - cubing raw chicken/beef, grating cheese, chopping vegetables - it is wise to separate boards since every board will be used at once, and raw meat should never touch ingredients that won't be cooked. You could use the steel side for meats and flip the board over to use the plastic side for cheese, but I prefer more separation.The plastic side intrigues me because it is not the usual petroleum-based plastic. Wheat straw is a trendy alternative to some solid plastics. It's a BPA-free and food-grade material with FDA approval. It is made from a by-product of wheat production, namely wheat straw. Wheat straw plastic is produced by collecting waste wheat straw, chopping it up into small pieces, and mixing it with natural polymers like corn starch - or, in this case, polypropylene.The knife sharpener touches up blades that are already sharp and is a handy, last-minute convenience. Troubled blades will need a proper multistage sharpener.The garlic grinder is another clever innovation I have not seen on any other cutting board.Despite the misleading packaging, this is a great board for $15.

I've never had a stainless steal Cutting board like this, and this is definitely quality. This has great weight to it, and I love that it has double sided use. It has the garlic grater aspect and the knife sharpener on the side. I absolutely LOVE that it's dishwasher safe, which makes cleaning a breeze. I wish this came with better directions though, to explain which side should be used to different types of food. The box is the wrong one for this cutting board, I belive, since the box said it comes with a storage case and that it had tabs on it to tell you which foods to use, which it didn't have. Overall, this is a nice cutting board, just needs so tweaks in terms of better directions and packaging labels.

I was looking for a cutting board to replace my broken glass board. First thing that caught my attention was how it looked. The modern design, coupled with the features made it an easy selection.Features include double sided surfaces - the stainless steal side for meats while the other side works for vegetables, etc. It comes with a knife sharpener, a grinding area, juice groove and a handle.Quality wise, this is made of high quality steel with mesh texture design to reduce scratches. It feels solid, yet not heavy. The edges are wrapped in anti-slip silicone.This is a different board. It stands out and multi-functional. If there is one con for me, it is that it is a tad small, but that does not detract from this being a well-made and nice looking kitchen tool. Highly recommended.

I love that this is 2 sided!! The metal side makes me feel much better about disinfecting after using it for raw meat and the plastic side works great for everything else. The plastic side has the liquid groove around it so my wet veggies didn't leak juice all over the counter during use. It is easy to clean and solidly weighted so it doesnt move around while chopping. The box is a little confusing though since one side is for the right product and one side says it is a 4 pack, but that's easy to disregard. Highly recommend!
