Sliquid Organics Lubricant Oceanics with Carrageenan, nori & wakame - 4.2 oz

Made with great ingredients, but not very slick and doesn't last long unfortunately.

I have outrageously sensitive skin and am therefore beyond spoiled when it comes to natural ingredients in personal products, and lube is no exception. I have probably tried them all at this point, and have discovered that carrageenan is the magic ingredient for me—all natural, doesn’t irritate my skin even if I JUST shaved, stays nice and slick, isn’t overly thick or sticky or gummy feeling (has the consistency of a massage oil, rather than syrupy like a lot of brands). It somehow manages to stay slippery as long as needed but also kind of absorb into the skin at the same time—so when it does dry, it doesn’t leave a sticky residue behind for all the lint off your blankets to adhere to. And if you aren’t ready for it to be dry yet, get the area wet again (either with water or saliva or, yknow, get creative) and it will be slippery again. No stains on the sheets or on clothes. Kind of naturally warms up to your body temperature but without a “heating” sensation. This stuff is as close as you’re gonna get to the “real thing” at a price point that I don’t mind restocking freely as needed. And it isn’t flavored, but it also doesn’t have a mood-killing chemical taste if/when you happen to taste it in the process of, yknow, tasting other things. It has almost a sweetness to it that compliments the natural sweetness of, yknow, I think I’ve made my point here. This lube will be my absolute go-to from now until forever.

This is my first time trying Sliquid. A blogger by the name of, HeyEpiphora, had mentioned this lube when I was searching for one that was made of a better consistency than the ones I was using. I suffer from vaginal dryness due to PCOS, and with other lubricants I've had to use a generous amount to accommodate any discomfort. I still had to use quite a bit but not as much, and I'm sure even less when I continue to use the organic oceanics which I specifically bought to remedy my situation. It last a good while during sex, which puts it at the top of my list when compared to that of KY Jelly--which is what I was using beforehand. I prefer this one to the H20 original. The smell is pleasant and light. I was almost positive that I'd suffer an allergic reaction as my skin is very sensitive and I heard that one or two other people have had that reaction, but I faced none of these issues, and I had no discomfort from dryness. I will most certainly buy a bigger bottle (as I bought the 4.2 ounce) and will try one of their others such as, Satin and Silver.

The media could not be loaded.  I have purchased this before and it was great back in the day but the bottle I received seems to be a new formula as the packaging is slightly different but the worst part is it is so thin it would be better for watering my plants than to use as a personal lubricant. The old version had 0 fragrance, and had the consistency of a gel lube like KY. The bottle I received this afternoon has a slight floral fragrance and despite vigorous shaking it has the consistency of water. Very unhappy with the product because I cannot use it -I am sensitive to odors, this doesn’t have any slip to it, and it is so runny it could not be applied very well unless it had a spray bottle/mister head and even then wouldnt stay because it has zero viscosity. I shook it several times thinking product separation may have occurred...nope. It was a useless purchase. Sad because this used to be a great product. I reached out directly to the company via their website and was simply told yes the packaging and formula has changed. That is it. No effort to fix the problem. A refund, samples of their other products, or even a simple apology would have been nice. I will be looking for a different product. Never using Sliquid products ever again.

Sometimes a little lubricant helps, but I didn't want to use something that could harm my body. This stuff is plenty slippery, and I hope that it is safe and natural as they claim.The bottle is fine and easy to dispense the right amount. I'm sure if you need lubricant for other activities, this would work just fine. It's a little bit expensive but I knew the cost before I bought it. If it became too expensive I'd probably try to find a different brand, as there are other natural lubricants out there.

For years my husband and I just used lubricants we found in adult gift stores, but I noticed recently that the second ingredient listed on them was parabens. I hope that was a mistake...because that seems like a lot of parabens.....but it prompted me to quickly switch to a more natural product. I did some research and decided on Sliquid because I liked their ingredients the most. I've been very satisfied with this product. It doesn't have a scent, which is a vast improvement on those fake fruity scents lubricants often have. It has a very natural feel to it, lubricating without that slippery, oily residue. It probably doesn't last as long as a synthetic lube, but that is to be expected with a natural product. Just add a little more if you need some, and feel good about what you're doing for your body.
