I’m a man using it for my beard.
I’ll start by saying I’m a man. I bought this to tame my beard. If you’re a guy looking into this, then this is the one you’re gonna want. I researched many products, and many of them may be great. I went with this one because 1. It had a straight non curved body. 2. It was compact at I believe around 5-7”, perfect for using on my beard. At first I was somewhat leery of using it, because I didn’t want it to kill my beard, and I’m a man not a woman and women use these things. I received it in a great package, which now is being used as a loose hardware box for my camper. I didn’t like the first couple of times I used it. Not because of the product, but that it worked too well. I didn’t like the look or feeling of that perfectly straight beard. You’re gonna have to find what you like, but for me once my beard is dry, I comb through half the thickness a couple of times. I use my regular comb to follow up. If you get this just know that it will take a couple of times using it to figure out how much you want straightened. You may like it super straight. When you turn it on it will automatically be on the third setting, which I find myself using. It heats up very quickly allowing you to get out of the bathroom fast. Now that I’ve used one of these I’ll never go without. I also use this in conjunction with Live Bearded straight up beard balm after I finish.

Use this on my beard - works great
I have a rather unruly beard. Very wiry, not really curly but not at all straight. My barber suggested I might try to straighten it. Watched a few youtube vids, and decided to try. You can spend ALOT on one of these, and yet this one, fairly inexpensive, seems to work great. From what I gather, there are really only a few makers, and everyone tends to re-brand them. At the end of the day you need a comb that gets hot. Not too complicated. I use the middle/default temp setting( it has 5), for less than a minute each morning. That is all it takes. It heats up very quickly (a min or two). My beard is much easier to manage now I would reccomend this.

Easy to use, takes the frizz out for a straighter look
This is very easy to use, it does straighten hair and reduces frizz pretty well, but know that it doesn't straighten quite as well as a flat iron. If you are expecting flat ironed hair you will be disappointed. For my purposes of taking some of the frizz out of my naturally wavy but not the pretty, tighter curl thin hair, and doesn't require too much time to look decent enough to get out the door you will be happy with it. Excellent for touch ups too. Nice additional accessory to use without having to take the flat iron out and spend 45-60 minutes on your hair. Nice travel sized too.

Guys with beards
I got this for my beard to tame the curls and waves. When you turn it on it auto goes to 338, I use it at 375. I use it just after a shower and before oil, but while the beard is still a little damp. Go slowly through your beard and you’ll be pleased with the results. It takes 110-220 but when I travelled through Dubai it didn’t actually seem to like the 220 very much. The heat probes are pretty long so it makes it through my beard easily enough. I do a lot of international travel and your beard will stay straight and soft for days. Curly beards have their days, but I like the straighter look. Quick easy way to replace that brush and hair dryer ritual.

Heat Brushing a Beard
At the point of purchase I had a beard with about 3 months of growth (currently 4 1/2 months). My beard has a lot of body and I needed any additional assistance to manage the unruly mane. I was researching heated brushes that were specifically recommended or designed for beards. Some of the top brands cost upwards of $100. I wasn't willing to make that kind of investment. I found this brand at an affordable rate. Here's my thoughts:1. The product description (and or answered questions) states this product is acceptable for usage on beards2. The product was priced around $293. I use this product almost daily. I occasionally give my beard a day of rest from the brush and products.4. I had hoped the brush would completely manage my mane, but that was a lofty hope. The brush does tame, but not complete address the unruliness. I am completely satisfied with the level of management the brush provides. It evens out the body, but doesn't eliminate it.5. The product comes in nice packaging. The brush comes with a heat resistant cover and a heat resistant glove. I've only used the cover once when traveling and I've never had need to use the glove. The brush also comes with a swivel power cord which is nice for navigating both sides of my beard.6. The brush is easy to power on and has several heat levels. I generally use the hottest temp. The brush heats to the hottest level within a couple minutes. I have not tested the product to see whether it has an automatic shutoff.7. I do recommend drying your beard before usage as the brush heats the beard fast and creates some steam/heat when the beard is wet. I vary on when I apply my beard oil, sometimes before brushing, sometimes after. I'd check your beard oil to see what it recommends. I don't use the brush after applying beard balm to avoid getting product burned on the brush.All-in-all this is an inexpensive alternative for anyone looking to get a heated beard brush. It does the job and it's comparitively inexpensive.

Great for travel
I have very curly hair which I straighten when blow drying. It's such a hassle and I have many hair accessories that I've tried over the years. The straightener brush is awesome and does the trick. It smoothes my hair straight after blow drying. I travel for work and this is perfect: small for packing and can be used abroad. I just used it on a trip to Italy and it worked great. Just bought a second one; one for home and one for the suitcase.

Lasted about 2 weeks then died
This is a great concept but the product doesn’t last long. I have to admit I loved it while it worked the few times I used it (about 2 weeks) on the lowest setting (I have fine hair - so I knew it wasn’t because it was on the highest setting and/or burned out.) 2nd week - it wouldn’t even turn on but Amazon fully refunded me.

Wow! Impressed!
I was unsure about this product when I bought it. Reviews were helpful but overall I was questioning. Man I’m glad I tried it. I have fine wavy hair and always hated how my flat iron made it to “flat”. I was always worried about the heat damage as well. This product is the solution. It straightens without flattening. Easy to use. I’m sold!! Highly recommend.

A fan so far
I have fine but curly hair and this brush was able to straighten it no problem. I'm seeing some reviews saying it's not great for thick hair, but I think they might have been treating it like just a brush - you still need to part your hair and brush it through in sections, just like a regular flat iron.It doesn't get my hair pin straight, but it's definitely faster than a flat iron. The slower you pull the brush through, the better it straightens. I also find if I hold the ends of my hair taut while pulling the brush, it helps any harder to straighten areas.I like the fact it's easy to straighten without fear of burning the scalp.

Not great for long thick hair
A little disappointed to be honest. The brush itself is not large which makes it less than optimal if you have long, thick hair as it takes forever. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions before ordering. Also the on off and temp settings are right on the handle so when you’re using it it’s super easy to inadvertently change heat settings or turn off altogether. In my opinion this brush would work great on shorter less thick hair - just be aware of the temp settings placement t.

Straight hair that isn't flat
Love how this straightens my hair and takes out the frizz without making my hair completely flat like a straightener does. I was worried I might burn myself with it but it has tips on the heated parts to protect you. Very happy with it. Only had it a few weeks so I can't speak of the lifespan of it though.
