Works well
I installed it myself, with a bit of help from my boyfriend. It works well!

The female ports aren't glued in place
They work fine, but the female ports aren't glued in or anything. My cat, doing what cats do best - mess with stuff - knocked it inside the wall and I had to fish it back out. Seriously, a dot of superglue would go a long way...

So glad I bought these
After mounting the TV's on the wall in our new house I wanted to avoid HDMI cables hanging when we plugged in xboxs or PlayStations or whatever. These did the trick. I mounted them in old work boxes but since they're low voltage, you can technically just install drywall plugs and screw the plates to the wall and get done even quicker. I love them and they do the job

Not good
Needed this for my projector, doesnt work. Neither port worked so had to resort to plugging the cable i ran directly in to the projector. Not sure if its quality conrol but even so i would have expected atleast one port work. Wouldnt recommend this especially for 20 dollars

loss of signal
I found that the outlet was easy to use, however the resistance to the signal was too great for my installation, and I bypassed the wall plate, and wired directly to my received to keep from signal loss.

Doesn’t work for me.
Bought these to use with my projector. I have a high speed hdmi cable that runs from one hdmi plate to the other one. The cable works perfect by its self. But as soon as I plug it on the hdmi plates, it doesn’t work. Not sure if it’s a compatibility thing since my cable is high speed!?! Would love some feed back from you guys. Thanks
