Jamaican Real Black Castor Oil 4 oz.

I was kind of skeptical about ordering this off Amazon since they have a website. It’s the same though. If you know about JBCO then you know. I always get this one because I don’t trust the clear ones

When I purchased the first bottle of B's Organic Castor Oil, I was so elated, so I purchased another bottle just to have it available when I run out. I started rubbing the castor oil on my scalp about 2-3 times per week. However, I began to have itches, and I thought, may be my scalp is being detoxed. Moreover, I researched the Internet, and found that it was nothing to worry about; it was just my scalp being detoxed. I also put a small amount of the castor oil on the ends of my hair, and a small amount on my hair. Thereafter, I noticed a lot of hair coming out. I continued to think may be the castor oil is getting rid of the damaged hair.The itching continued, and I continued to get bumps on my scalp. I thought, may be I should just put it on my scalp for about half an hour, and wash it out. Unfortunately, I did so, and the next day, the situation worsened. I felt almost no hair on the back of my head, and the baldness on the top began to spread. I immediately washed my hair, but the itching continued, but not as bad.I took it upon myself to research the Internet further. Upon doing so, I found that the black castor oil does not work on permed hair; in fact, it will break your hair if it is permed because salt is added to the castor oil. Now. I have to purchase a wig -- which I don't like to wear because my hair is almost bald in the back, and on top.I wish that B's would have been upfront with their advertising, and let the public know that the black castor oil does not work on permed hair -- only natural hair. I used to used black castor oil in Jamaica when I was a little girl, and it grew my hair. Of course, my hair was not permed. I have seen advertisements showing that the black castor oil works on all types of hair, which includes permed hair.My experience with the black castor oil is devastating, and I am depressed because now I have to wear wigs.

Don't like the smell but good productDon't like the smell but good product

While this product stinks (smells like burnt porcupine meat lol), it seems to be working. Seems to be the real deal. I can't say that I have seen a lot of growth but I feel like with continuous use, my edges have more hair than they did. Surprisingly this lays my transitioning edges down when I lay my scarf on them for about 15 mins. Arrived very quickly also.

I can’t find this in stores at all. It’s hard to find real JBCO. My hair has thinned out around the temple and crown area. This has really helped with thickening & growing my hair back

Amazing growth with this oil. This is the only castor oil brand that has grown my hair so much. I noticed results with my hair and my daughter's hair within a month of first using it. It is amazing. I am waiting for the 8oz bottle to be available again.
