Dial Setting 2 Wire Volt Free LCD Room Thermostat

Works well as a replacement for an old 2-wire mechanical thermostat. Accurate to plus/minus one degree or so. Simple to install. Took me a bit of time to work out that one of the dip switches controls the choice of F or C (the instructions could be clearer on that point!).

For years I have been looking for a room thermostat that is simple to use which does not have to be connected to 240V AC. This device is battery operated, hence no need to connect to AC supply (electricity mains). For information - Using an normal mechanical room thermostat without connecting to an AC supply will cause large temperature variations due to hysteresis of the bi-metal strip. I love it - more than my wife (mind you, that not too hard).

This worked fine,then failed one month after warranty period. Seller told me to fit new batteries. If still not working, to buy a new one. I don't consider thirteen months of use to be good value. Won't be buying replacement from this seller!

Brilliantly simple and worked right out of the box. An excellent product where a two wire unit is needed.

Worked well, but difficult to read display in low light.

Working fine so far. Temperature and temperature setting are accurate and unit switches on/off 1 degree either side of setpoint.
