Great design!
Usually training potties are pretty basic or just way over done..but this one fits perfectly in the middle. It has a very simple design that is so easy to put together and is very sturdy. The storage on the top is great for wet wipes, the flushing sound is great and has encouraged my little one to use it more often, and it also has the option to have a toilet paper holder which I thought was such a good idea!My favorite part about this though has to be the seat. Two reason why is because: 1- it is padded and is way more comfortable for little ones sitting for longer periods of time. 2- is the seat detaches for easy use on a full size toilet!I highly recommend this product!

Helps keep potty training easy
We started introducing the potty to my 2 year old son about a month ago and have learned that he is more likely to use them if they are close at hand. This is easy for him to use (perfect height), in no way scary (he actually enjoys flushing it), and likes having his very own potty. Easy to move around. Easy to clean. Looks as close to a real toilet as we could find. Exactly what we wanted.

Cute, but still another version out for sale I like better.
SUMMARY: I will use it but still need a way to get toddler up safely to the real toilet.DETAIL:This is cute. No doubt, it meets the cute criteria. and no doubt, the fake flush sound is fun for the kids. Here is my deduction: that when the potty training is done. and you take the toilet seat off and put it on a regular flushing toilet you have still 2 dilemas: 1: how does child get up to the regular toilet. You still need to get a step stool or ladder. 2: you are left with a fake toilet to store and the parts are separated. In my house, once items are separated, (say the toilet tank part stored for baby # 2 or when done) chances are I can't link up the 2 itemsSo, IF I AM EVALUATEING FOR WHAT I GET FOR THE PRICE ($62.99 suggested price, sale price $39.99), I would take that $40 and put it towards either 2 other designs: 1: an all-in-one ladder/step stool and seat that goes on a flushable toilet 2: a mini toilet that converts to be a step stool at either a sink or to get up to the toilet. I see some nice competitor options for under $35, some under $30 that have a ladder, and handle rails to help guide child to a stand-up position and then the child gets the "real sound of the toilet flushing", rather than a fake sound.PRICE IS TOO HIGH FOR FULL FUNCTIONALITY COMPARED TO COMPETITION.I see a Minnie Mouse toilet seat training potty out there for $35 (perhaps no fake flush sound)Assembly took a bit of time. Longest time was finding the screw driver and getting the screw out to put the batteries in for the fake flush sound. Honest, I have to invest in a magnetic screwdriver! Second. when I looked at how to remove the training seat (tilt at a 60-degree angel) to see how the seat clips in and out. I got it to unclick real fast by tilting the seat to get to that 60 degree angel, but then it took me a bit of time to get enough lighting and the tilt to get the seat back on.Let's just say, if hubby had assembled this, who has zero tolerance for assembling anything, he would have tossed it out. You do need the directions. The puzzle pieces are not intuitive on their own, especially that extra piece that goes in the tank top that just hides the screw and the toilet roll holder, which again, is located in a position a toddler won't use. Overall, it is cute for initial training, but truly other options will have a longer useful lifeI am generous with my 4-star rating, just on functionality and value for money.

Great transition potty
We had a smaller potty that just seemed awkwardly small for my two year old. This is much bigger and sturdier, without being heavy or hard (for an adult) to move. It was a little difficult to get some of the parts to snap into place properly, it takes a good bit of force but once it's all put together it's pretty secure.I love that this has a rod for toilet paper that can push back in. There's enough resistance that my toddler isn't easily playing with it. The storage on top has plenty of room for a pack of wipes or a few diapers. The removable seat does take a little practice to get it on and off - I don't trust being able to do it in a hurry if your toddler is being picky about where they want to pee, BUT it means that said toddler isn't gonna be able to take it off themselves without definitely getting caught. It fits perfectly on our toilet, so taking it with us on our upcoming Christmas trip will be incredibly useful.I missed in the description that this came with some bowl liners, so I was really pleased to see that included. My kid thought it was "so silly!" to potty with a liner in, but man it does make cleanup a lot easier.

Realistic training toilet is enticing for toddlers and convenient for parents.
The media could not be loaded. I’m impressed with this toddler toilet! I got this because I take care of my nephew who’s just about ready for potty training. I had this put together in under 7 minutes. It was really easy to set up. Everything just snaps into place. You only need a screw driver for the battery compartment if you wish to use the flushing sound for the handle.I did not expect this to be as heavy as it was. So, I love that it’s very sturdy, and I don’t have to worry about him tipping it over. Training toilets of the past were very lightweight and were easy to knock around/over. Bonus, this has grippers on the bottom to prevent skidding. The tank acts as a receptacle to hold your wet wipes. You can also place the toilet brush it came with in it. It has a decent sized removable bowl that came with disposable liners, so once your baby is done using it it can be removed and disposed of for easy cleaning. There’s also a retractable holder for a toilet paper roll. Other nice features are the cushioned toilet seat, the splash guard, and the handle, which mimics the sound of a toilet flushing; my nephew was excited by this feature.I love that this is a more realistic looking toilet in comparison to other toddler toilet models. I think it makes it more exciting and encourages them to try to use it, in that it looks just like mommy and daddy’s, but sized for them. When my nephew saw this all set up when he came in, he ran over to it straight away, all smiles. And he couldn’t wait to interact with it. I think this is well worth the price!

Bigger than most, but also WAY more fun to use.
Never easy getting a little one excited about going to the potty, but this thing makes it sooo much more fun. The size is actually much bigger than I expected, so the seat surrounds quite a large opening. Might be a bit too big for kids under the age of 2. Assembly was super easy since all of the parts basically snap on and no tools are required. You do need a screwdriver (not included) to access the battery compartment on the tank lid though. It's just a single screw and you get 2 AAAs in the box.Love how the toilet paper holder pulls out, and you can push it back in when it isn't needed to lower the profile. The tank compartment can also hold an entire bag of wipes and you can even store some stuff underneath the divider where the holder is located. The flush lever barely moves though so it's not exactly like a real one, and the sound it makes is a bit old school - much longer and nuanced than a standard toilet these days. Fortunately the sound isn't super loud so it shouldn't wake up the house if used in the middle of the night. As far as the build, everything is made of plastic, but the shape does a great job of resisting weight. Compared to most basic open-air low-set potties, the plastic is a bit less dense; however the seat is obviously MUCH higher off of the ground so it's more comfortable for the little one to sit on. It's also warmer too, because there's more material insulating their bottom from the ground. Emptying the receptacle is as easy as any other potty since you just pull it out and I'm super glad they included liners in the kit for travel. At first the little one thought they were shower caps because they look almost identical. lolBut in terms of use, performance and aesthetics, it's easily the best potty I've owned to date. Unfortunately it is a bit on the large side so you may have to take it apart if you want to travel with it, but like I said, it's super easy to just snap together, and you don't even have to take the tank part with you. It's really only for storage and holding the toilet paper. Overall though, I have to say that I'm quite impressed. From a distance it legitimately does look like a real toilet, and the different colours help the little one feel like it's truly their own - something that I've learned really helps with use. A big thumbs up from me.

Very, Very Clever!
We have been threw a couple of kids of our own, and now a couple of grandkids, and this has to be the most unique, full featured "potty" we have seen or come across! Brilliant design! The plastic the entire unit is made of, is that softer, more flexible kind of plastic. Strong and tough, but has some flex to it. (I wish I knew my plastics...) It is so easy to keep clean - just a damp cloth or sponge and it's back to a "like new" condition. The base of the unit, sits of four "silicone" feet, each about 1" long. (Don't really know if they are silicone...) The unit sits on our tile floor and talk about grip. The base will not move. Keep the floor clean and the "silicone" feet too, and this potty stays firmly planted. The upper portions are just like a full-sized toilet - a seat and lid, both separate units. The actual bowl is a simple plastic piece that lifts our easily when the bottom seat area is lifted up.There is a "water jacket" on the back, and that's where I am storing a cleaning brush, potty liners and the manual. There is even a toilet paper holder and the real sound of water flushing and filling back up, when you engage the tank handle. It's all very well done!So far, there are near fights as to who gets to use the new toilet first! Or for how long! I think that by having something that is "fun" and/or "cool" to the little ones, can only help with "potty training". It is something everyone goes through, and any aid is most welcome.Bottom Line - A very creative and well constructed mini kids toilet for potty training. Easy for kids to use and easy for adults to clean and keep clean. A real winner of a product catering to children!

Love the miniature design to mimic a real toilet
Super nice looking toilet. It was very easy to build. Everything snapped together with ease. It is very sturdy.I mainly got this to replace a smaller toilet. The old one had gotten a bit too small for my nephews. This one has a taller seating position, and also a deeper bowl to hold more excrement. It was just more comfortable overall for them.Even though it is quite a bit bigger than our old one, it was still fairly lightweight. It was very easy to carry and move around the house when required. My nephews love to play with toys while doing their business. Usually all the toys are scattered on the floor, but with the little cubby in the tank, it helps keep their toys in one place. It really is a great idea. This toilet also features a fake flushing sound, operated by aaa batteries. It's a good feature to help develop the children's habits.Overall this is a fantastic training toilet. I really like that it looks like a real toilet. It looks really cute for one, and the fact that it looks like a normal toilet should make their eventual transition to a real toilet a bit smoother.Good product. Five stars.
