Good Suitcase but Not Suitable for Carry on Status with American Airlines
I used this case on a recent trip to England and it held up well to baggage handlers. One thing I was disappointed about was it says it the dimensions are 9x21x14. The actual height of it with wheels is closer to 23" and, when put in the American Airline's suitcase sizer at the airport, the wheels hung out beyond the actual size allowed (22") by about an inch so they would not allow it as a carry on. Now that airlines are being more fussy about dimensions of carry ons I wish vendors would be required to give total dimensions with the wheels not just the dimensions of the suitcase. Other than that I would recommend this as a good suitcase.

Lightweight, easy
I needed a very lightweight carryon. I always buy the black and then I stencil with personalized print of my choice - using the oil based sharpie pens in gold and silver. This bag spins on it's wheels easily. I have not had the tip over issues mentioned in other reviews, but as one comment mentioned, if this happens, you just need to turn the wheels 90 degrees or so. With any case that has spinner wheels tip over is possible if they line up just right. The inside is surprisingly large and I find it easily holds what I need for a long weekend. It has straps inside to hold one side in place. There are lots of zippered compartments outside to access papers or other items you might need to... notepad, even a laptop. Just depends on how stuffed you want the bag to be. I like to keep it pretty thin in order to now have to fight it in or out of the overhead. Flying Alaska and United most of the time I have not had any issues with overhead stowing. The handle seems sturdy. I always update with any issues that might be helpful.UPDATE: 1 31 2016.... I've added a few pics to better show the case inside and out....Also, I failed to mention that this case also offers an "extension" zip giving you about 1" or so once opened. Remember: I personalize my black bags so I can easily spot them - when you order the bag, it will be plain black until you release your inner crafty person! Happy travels!

Good value with one flaw
Purchasing this as a replacement to my older version. And, there is one major change. It has NO pull handle on the base. This is a deal killer if you want to place it in an over head bin. The only way to pull it from the bin (wheels facing out) is to grab the dirty wheels. Too bad... this had a potential of being a 4-5 Star.Pro: 10 yrs. of heavy use proved this to be a durable bag. Good wheels... Strong and durable. Never had issues with the zippers. Outside pockets good. Light carryon.Cons: NO BOTTOM handle to pull case out from overhead, Zipper pulls small and VERY thin, Rounded edges make it less easy to pack... compared to a more boxey-like suit case ... like the Samsonite Advena Spinner. This is almost exactly like the Samsonite Advena but $40 cheaper. HOWEVER, the wheels on the Samsonite are poor quality and would be easy to break.Overall, this is a good value but does have a major weakness by not providing a bottom pull handle for removal from the overhead bin. Between the Samsonite Advena and Atlantic Ultra Lite, I would choose the Samsonite (BUT BARELY).All that being said, (and, not really a comparison) ... I decided to make an investment in a MUCH more expensive Briggs and Riley Baseline Spinner... although heavier, it had all the right aspects for the making of a perfect carry on - especially it's compression capability more than makes up for its slightly smaller size.

Check handle!
I've had Atlantic luggage for many years and it withstood hard use well. This little carry on started out fine, but after ONE trip the handle will not extend fully. When I looked inside (via a handy zip) the tube of one side of the mechanism had a large dent on the underside which stops the handle from extending. There is a cushioning pad on each of the tubes - on the crushed side the tube was tied down on the side toward the packed items. The undented side had the cushioning underneath (where it can protect against damage from luggage handling). It would be a good idea for owners to make certain the cushioning is placed where it can do its job. I fear dealing with Atlantic customer service would be an exercise in futility so I am limping along with shorter than optimal handle. Thankfully I'm not too tall.

Wonderful bag with great organization pockets!
This is exactly what i needed to replace my old bag. It doesnt' stand up super great when the contents are off balance, but some of that is due to the mastery of packing and not the bag itself. It has great storage pockets and was just big enough for an entire week of clothing! I am pleased with this bag and especially the fact it comes in such fun colors! I plan to purchase another one!

Lightweight and can be rolled using one finger
Same review as the larger size. Great suitcase! Looks great, so lightweight and rolls with one finger. I have the same brand aprx. 10 years old and all the zippers and wheels still work which is why I bought this brand again.

Great carry on bag excellent quality and value
Great carry on bag excellent quality and value... To find a bag of this quality and value for sub $100 is not easy, however this bag is the right choice if your looking for function, quality and value. My last bag from Atlantic Luggage lasted me years of frequent travel and I expect no less from this bag.

False Dimensions
Great quality luggage. Love the details and compartments it offers. Wheels glides perfectly. No issues yet.Update: Description says false dimensions. Point of buying this luggage is to have it as a carry-on based from the dimensions given. Dimensions are more of 23” height, which exceeds carry-on limits.
