San Cosme Mezcal Tequila, 75cl 8712838328301

I bought this out of curiosity after seing the production process on "Moonshiners" TV series. I like Islay Malts and found that the initial hit of sweetness, followed by the smokey aftertaste provided a different, but very pleasant alternative to them. Will definitely buy again.

Crisp flavour, almost peaty, exellent sipping Mezcal.

I'm a big fan of smokey whiskey, rum l, brandy and grappa. Saw Rick Stein in Mexico and thought Mezcal was worth a try. Never been that much in to Tequila but only had it with Line and salt so never really appreciated it. From the fridge I have to say this Mezcal is now my favourite spirit it used to be langavoulin but this beats it for me. It is a less harsh grappa type flavour with an underlying smokey flavour. It's amazing. If like me you think I'll try drinks from around the world and see if there are drinks that I'd really like try this!!! Can't talk about other Mezcals - but finished the first bottle and immediately bought tve same bottle again

Smooth, smoky, slightly sweet. Kind of reminiscent of a single malt Scotch, but without the hangover. Enjoy it straight-up, at room temperature. Sip, don’t shot.

Excellent. Brought as a hostess gift and my friend ended up buying more.

Lacks the smokiness of some other mezcal a and is less smooth on the first few sips but it tastes really nice and it’s a lively product

Lovely and smooth, sweet and smokey. Not a lot to divide this and Quiquiriqui, San Cosme might be a little smoother/sweeter but there's not much in it.

Estuvo muy bueno, compré 3 y con naranjita y sal de gusano... Uffff!!!

Nunca antes había tomado mezcal, soy bebedor de whisky y la voy a comparar respecto al whisky.Me parece una bebida no muy aromática pero muy suave y agradable de tomar. Se nota un sabor verde de la planta, herbal. Recuerda a algún licor de hierbas pero más refinado.Yo lo tomo en vaso de chupito o copa de whisky a temperatura ambiente pero con el vaso sacado del congelador para refrescar un poco la bebida, me gusta más así después de hacer varias pruebas. Para mí tomarlo combinado con refresco o zumo es un desperdicio, mejor tomarlo solo.Cuando vaya a algún restaurante o licorería pediré otras marcas para comparar pero de momento la primera experiencia me está gustando. Se nota una bebida que han cuidado para ofrecer un producto de calidad.No sé si merece su precio porque al mismo precio el whisky me parece una bebida superior, pero si está de oferta merece la pena tener una botella.
