This rare little gem by the master alchemist Giovanni Boccaccio is a comprehensive and thorough guide on the mysteries of the old Greek and Roman gods. In this book are many mysteries related to those pagan gods and to our very own nature; both metaphysically and practically. Boccaccio really did know his stuff when it came to esoteric pagan wisdom. He gave us a dictionary that is very rare to find in the public realm, as most of these mysteries buried themselves along with their culture; especially the Greek mysteries, who swore not to speak of their religions or fables, but rather to speak of them only in action, in practice. Boccaccio touches on very deep aspects, and amply explains different ways to interpret the symbols of the gods as though their inherent complexity were a breeze! Although the deepest mysteries relating to these fables and myths are somewhat still under the veneer of mystery, we have here a book that wishes to allow us the privilege of seeing how beautiful the reflection of the heavens are upon the deep waters of ancient pagan alchemy; but there is still yet more life beneath this sea.I highly recommend this book for anyone who wishes to better understand themselves, the gods, and the stars! :)Man, know thyself!

Es ist eigentlich mehr als erstaunlich, dass es dieses viel zitierte Werk bisher in keiner deutschen Übersetzung gibt.Umso dankbarer bin ich - und sind es sicher all jene, die nicht fließend Latein können - für diese Übertragung.
