I bought this (and also the step by step perspective flowers) to encourage me to get back into art. I have basic drawing skills but lack creativity so this book helps because it introduces you to lots of different shapes and features that you can use. The method is effective because it teaches muscle memory and accuracy but you can also develop your own techniques and variations. I'm hoping I will be able to create more realistic and 3 dimensional art with this practice.

I missed the return date, shame. Nice in theory but.... not for me...

It is a lovely book, perfect for learning to draw. Sadly every left hand page is printed wonky and is missing a bit of the writing on the edge. Runs through whole book. Clearly a manufacturing fault.But wont stop me drawing all the lovely leaves, berries and tiny critters.
