A great waste of time.
Imagine this. You make a seed starting pot from your morning newspaper or junk mail. Sounds great right? You spend time measuring the size needed, rolling it, filling it with dirt, and you put a tiny little seed in it. Awesome ! You water the new paper pot. and you keep it moist but not wet, so the seed has enough moisture to grow. But wait, whats this? why is the PAPER pot breaking down? its only been two days? Yes, newspaper is very thin and cheap. Maybe thats it. Ill use a bill next time. Measure the paper, cut it, roll it, fill it with dirt, and plant the seed. Now its nice and moist. Damn it dried. The paper pot is rock hard now. Let me remoisten it, because paper is very porous and dries out super fast. hey I see the seed starting to grow ! Ahh the pot it dry AGAIN. let me water my plants. DAMN !!! my spray bottle sprayed the pot too, and now its ripped.....and its too early to transplant. Well at least i can use this wooden seed pot maker as firewood.... Update: it didnt work too great for start a fire. Too thick....

It was simple to use and fun to make the paper pots. And since the pots can be made out of newspaper, instead of plastic, they are environmentally friendly too!
