As promised & works flawlessly
I am a retired professional who still does all types of volunteer home repair, especially through my church. I sometimes find "knock off" parts or non-brand name parts do not work as well as the originals. However, I try to save the customer as much as I can and still give them great service. This part had the boiler/furnace for a single mom's home down, as our Michigan winter began and it was getting pretty chilly. The delivery time was prompt, and I got it installed quickly. It has been several weeks since I installed the part for her and it is still working flawlessly. The apparent quality was there and the performance is there, so far.I realize two or three weeks is not a good indicator of longevity, but it does prove the part is initially of quality to perform well. As long as it works well for this long I feel a lot better about its chances of working for the long term. The original part lasted nearly 20 years and this one looks like it has a good chance of going as long! A good value for someone who cannot afford the outrageous price of some of the originals. Even with the extra cost of expedited delivery this part was less than half the price of the original at even the better priced wholesale houses. Several of the retail sales outlets I checked had this part for six times the price of this one (and that did not include expedited shipping from them). I recommend this part and source for anyone doing their own work and not having access to wholesale. My wholesale connections could not beat the price! Quality and great price is a winning combination every time!

Perfectly Fine
I thought my need to heat the house was over for the winter, but we had a couple of really cold days, and I discovered my heat wasn't coming on. I did a little research on google on why my gas would ignite, but would go out after a few seconds. I learned that on some systems you can take out the flame sensor and clean it with steel wool. Unfortunately when I tried that with the combined igniter/senser, I broke off the very delicate sensor. So I started looking for a replacement. Nobody would sell me one at any of the HVAC supply houses saying I had to be a contractor. I found this part on Amazon with the claim that it was compatible with my OEM part. I did see some reviews saying it didn't work, but for the price I was willing to give it a try. It was very easy to replace and worked immediately. I was going to have to pay at least 100 dollars for the service call, and anywhere from 100 to 150 for the part from the service companies. I don't have a problem paying these guys when it's something more challenging, but one screw and a molex connect is not something that is so complicated to do myself. The part worked perfectly the few cold days I had until I didn't need heat.Note: In the fall, my furnace started to act up again. Bought another igniter a genuine Honeywell this time, and after running through the decision trees to diagnose the smart valve, decided that it was the problem. I ordered a Honeywell SV9501M8129 Smartvalve Gas Valve, and everything has been working great all winter. You can do it yourself.Honeywell SV9501M8129 Smartvalve Gas Valve, New

The only one I can trust
is me. Awhile back I paid a guy to repair my heater and he said he replaced the module ($500). I took his word for it. Years later my heater again would not light. I figured I would roll the dice and start with this part. Upon further inspection, now with my hands dirty, it became apparent that this was the part he replaced, not the more expensive module. This was the best price I could find on the net. Quality product at a reasonable (relatively) price. Easy to put in, (once you figure out how to work the puzzle that is the removal of the curvy gas line), and I know I wasn't being scammed. You can do it.

Perfect long lasting
Although it says a frequently return item. This has worked great for my furnace. Going on about a year now. And I'll tell you this is perfect for the price . Anywhere in the valley you would spend $200 on this

9 months' duration? Outrageous!
Didn't even last a full year. Bought in spring, died 2 months into its 1st winter. So it didn't even make it through the heaviest-use season. How does a brand name like Honeywell get away with intentionally producing and selling such garbage? At about $75, you may as well skip this and buy a knock-off. By the way, those seem to last longer than the "Genuine Honeywell" - but at 1/3 the price. I've used those before and they lasted for 4+ years. Guess I'll be going back to the knock-offs now...

Worked for 2 months then failed
The flame sensor rod failed and we purchased this unit to replace it. Worked flawlessly for 2 months and then no heat. I observed the furnace progression and noticed the igniter would come on, pilot flame present, but the burners wouldn't go live. Typically this points to the flame sensor rod. I couldn't believe it because we just installed this unit 2 months ago. So for yucks I blew on the pilot to give it more oxygen attempting to help the sensor rod wake up to flame presence. WOOF! the sensor rod got the message. Now I'm stuck with a decision 1) keep blowing on the pilot flame through the winter or 2) buy another expensive ignitor/sensor combo unit. sheesh!

Great buy working perfectly
Great buy considering you can't purchase anything like this in Canada unless you're a qualified installation person.

Works well but too expansive.
I replaced my flame igniter with this and it works as expected. But I don't think it worth this price.
