I have been using this type of ear cleaning tool for 10+ years and was very surprised that it lasted as long as it did. I ordered my last one over 10 years ago from a catalog company but I have no idea which company it was from so I was excited when I saw them for sale on Amazon!I ordered a 2 pack of ear cleaning picks which arrived on time and was glad to see that they were almost identical to my previous one. Since they were very similar, I left them in the package and put them in the bathroom closet so I’d know where to find them when I needed them.The time finally came that I needed them so I grabbed them out of the closet and opened the package and picked one up, put the tip on that I planned to use and slid the switch to turn the light on. The light flickered and went out so I slid the switch back and forth to see if it would turn on but all I got was another flicker. I set that one down and grabbed the other one, slid the switch and the light came right on with no flickering so I turned it back off and attempted to change the tip but as soon as I took the end off to retrieve the tips from inside pick handle, the entire pick fell apart. I managed to get it back together and checked to make sure the light still worked, which it did but when I went to put the tip on it didn’t fit in snugly and just fell right out. I grabbed the tip from the other pick and it fit perfectly! Since I finally had a functioning pick, I attempted to clean my fiancé’s ear but as soon as I put slight pressure on the pick the handle started to fall apart, the end fell off and the extra tips spilled onto the floor. I then attempted to try different parts from the two picks hoping I could assemble one functional pick but nothing worked so I threw all the parts into a baggie and tossed them back into the closet.

I received two sets of ear pickers. One of them was already opened and had hair in it. The tip of the pick was not smooth to be used on skin. I had to cut the rough edge. Also, the light doesn't stay on. I had to push the light button in a certain way to make it work. Even then it was keep going on and off. I don't recommend this product at all.

Received the product. The product description is misleading. They sell just 2 pieces of ear pick for $6 with 4 flimsy add on heads. The only thing worth any money are the batteries and led lights. You will get it cheaper elsewhere. They mention this as $1 per count which is misleading as those flimsy heads are hardly worth more than a few cents.

Very handy yo have with a mischievous toddler around but mostly use for kids ears.

Poor quality but serves the purpose

I ordered this to use for ear-picking for my parents. This is easy to use. The items arrived as expected. The light turned on. I gave one set to my parents. It’s easy to clean.

One of the currete the light doesnt stay on and the little compartment on the bottom is loose and keeps falling out. I ordered it before from wish and it was better quality. This is very flimsy product.

the edge of the scooper is sharp. It not safe for me to use it with my little one.
