Best I’ve ever tried
Each pair only really last a couple of uses before the foam doesn’t compress/expand as much. As they’re so cheap it’s not too bad as with 80 pairs they’ll last a long while. I just feel bad about the amount of plastic foam I am throwing away. But we live by a busy main road so there is constant traffic rumble and my husband is a heavy snorer and these are the only things that enable me to sleep. They really do work, best earplugs I’ve ever used.

Excellent little ear plugs
These ear plugs were needed due to vehicle traffic noise getting into one's home, especially early in the morning, where the noise is disturbing. However, suffice to say these ear plugs cut out between 99 to 100% of that noise. Great job.Trick to using them is to squash together (between finger and thumb) the two ends of the 'anchor' part. Then put into ear such that the 'anchor points' are pointing towards the top and bottom of inner ear. Then release and the sponge starts to expand and fill in the inner ear area.Make sure the ear plug is put into inner ear as far as possible such that when the 'anchor ends' are finally expanded, that the tip of the upper 'anchor end' actually 'hooks' just under the upper inner ear. If you get that right the bottom area of the anchor fills in the lower inner ear well too.On the odd occasion - if not placed deep enough into ear - to help the 'anchor end' fit well into inner ear, you can push very lightly on the bit of foam sticking out of the ear, as the foam expands thus aiding in making sure the ' anchor' area completely fills inner ear, to block out the noise.Sleeping in them has been successful, the odd occasion an ear plug may come loose.Overall, quite excellent, surprisingly good and super value for money. Would be handy to carry a pair or two around, even for use at work.

Very comfortable, even for sleeping, but not the best noise blocking
The price of these didn't seem bad. Like similar foam types they are fairly easy to fit. They are very soft and quite comfortable. I have trouble sleeping in ear plugs because I sleep on my sides for part of the night and some ear plug types just drive into my ears when I lie on them. These are soft and don't really stick out when worn so when resting my head on my pillow they don't put extra pressure on my ears at night. But they don't block the sound as much as some other ear plug types I have (the best for me so far are the triple-flanged silicone rubber ones) and so I can still hear some noise (including snoring) fairly clearly through them. I am fitting them correctly, rolling them into thin cylinders, inserting deep into my ears, and then waiting some time for them to expand. I think the foam is so light (non-dense) that sound travels through them better than through some alternatives. If I push/compress the foam remaining outside my ears slightly I can hear the noise isolation improving. So top marks for comfort, but only half marks for noise blocking.

Block out snoring
Good at blocking partners snoring and noisy streets. Only suitable for one or two nights as they loose shape. I do get some discomfort if worn for a few nights in a row. Hate how much single use packaging there is but it’s handy for travelling I suppose.

cancelled my tent mates snorring
Shared a tent with a snorer and this really did help reduce the noise greatly, but they woldnt stay in through the night. long enough though to go to sleep but if i woke up id have to find them again before i could go back to sleep. if only there was a way to mute snorers
