The CLEARHEAD Essential Oil Roll-On is a convenient aromatherapy oil, which rolls onto the skin.I was hoping to be able to use this essential oil as a relaxation aid before bed, but I'm still undecided about whether I actually like the fragrance. I can smell the lavender, but there's something else that's giving it a slightly stale scent. I know that essential oils are a very individual thing, so it may be that this just isn't the right one for me. Other reviews certainly don't mention it, so I'm prepared to believe that it's just me. I do start to like it better once the initial scent has worn off a bit.The oil has a slight tendency to make my skin feel itchy after I've applied it, but I do have very sensitive skin, and there hasn't been any rash or redness, so I think it's more just the initial "cold" feel of the oil going onto my skin. I think I might try applying it to a cotton ball or something, and leaving that near to my bed, rather than putting it directly onto my skin. I might like it better from a distance.It's a convenient size bottle to carry around, and the metal ball roll-on makes it easy to apply. If you're a fan of the essential oils it contains, it's worth a try.

I have been enjoying this roll on essential oil blend. I work on my feet a lot for hours at a time. On my break I enjoy using this as a little refresher before I return to work. The roll on applicator works very well and the size makes it perfect for the small purse I carry. I took off a star because, although the product says it contains coconut oil, marjoram, lavender rose, and peppermint oils, in my opinion it smells like lemongrass. While I’ve been enjoying this scent, it is not what I expected based on the packaging.

It would also make a thoughtful gift for anyone looking to relieve themselves of tension, which is pretty much all of us these days. There is no expiration date listed anywhere on the product, but the I expect to use it prior to its expiration. If it were to remain in the bottle long enough to expire, I imagine that expiration would make itself known without my needing a date.

On the one hand, I like that this is a roll-on applicator. It's definitely convenient. I had the CLEARHEAD tension relief scent, which is lavender based. It smells nice enough, but it can get a little overwhelming sometimes, as it's on your temple and you're constantly smelling it. I found it to be a little cloying, sometimes. But also, it really didn't do anything for me. No effect whatsoever. No reduction in tension. No help for my tension headache. So, I don't really see much point in it, other than it can smell alright.
