Midnight Bites: Stories of the Morganville Vampires Paperback – March 1, 2016

This is a sort of recap but mostly scenes that were not included in the original books. It was great to revisit and see what took place behind the scenes so to speak. I loved all of these characters and the craziness and personality of each one. Rachel Caine is a talented and awesome writer who takes you right into her stories as if you are really there. Loved this whole series!!

I cannot get enough of Claire, Shane, Michael and Eve. Rachel Caine's Morganville series definitely tops my list of must reads! Go ahead check out the series, bet you wish you'd never leave Morganville!

I loved this book! And Countess Drusilla Steele gave it 5 fangs as well. I'm not normally a fan of short stories, I tend to be just getting into them when they end. Drives me nuts. However, I will read anything and everything I can about the Morganville Vampires and the humans they tolerate. Some of these stories I had read before, but others were completely new to me. All were an absolute delight to read. I'm very glad that Shane seemed to be having some minor issues in adjusting to married life as I struggle to think of him and Claire as married too. But I guess when you live in a town of Vampires you grow up quick.The biggest joy of this book? The promise that there will be more Morganville stories to come. happening to writers before they can finish books. I'm a little concerned about how Michael is evolving, he's beginning to keep too many secrets. Oh and Lady Grey and Myrnin? God help me, I'm even keen to see what happens to Monica.If you're a fan of this series, you must get this book immediately. If you're not a fan, you must also get this book immediately so that you can find out what you've been missing

Going back to Morganville and its residents is awesome. I was so pleased to hear that Rachel Caine was going to release this book months ago - I reserved myself a copy. I got hooked on this series and loved every moment of it. It is great - some stories were familiar from her website but the new ones AMAZING. I read it in one sitting - couldn't stop reading it. Claire, Shane, Eve & Michael - Not to mention the Founder-Amelie & Oliver and importantly Myrnin's crazy self. It is awesome.

Another great Rachel Caine book--- It gave more insight to some of the characters that I grew to love in the Morganville Vampires.

Being a big fan of the series I am shocked at myself for not knowing this book existed. Big fan BUT big fan with time constraints. I do NOT visit her website where these stories apparently have been hidden. For that I am sad AND grateful. See, I get a new Morganville book. Not only a new book BUT a Morganville History book. This is beautiful. For that I am so grateful you don't even know. I know she doesn't read this stuff but her fans do. If anyone is close to her let her know I said Thank you. Also if anyone in the know reads this PLEASE let me know if there is another collection I may have missed. Thank you guys. (FYI I am a 47 soon to be 48 year old guy who likes to read)

Very much enjoyed reading this collection of short stories from The Morganville Vampire series. Although this is YA, I still find the stories highly entertaining, with plenty of action, emotion, and humor to keep me turning the pages. I don't recommend reading this until you've finished the full series, as there are too many spoilers if you read this first, but what a great follow up to the series! :)

I just got this delivered to me today and I`m so excited to read it. Hopefully it`s just as good as the other books. Characters and plot lines are always complex and mysterious. Rachel Caine is my favorite author of all time and I look forward to always remembering this author in my heart. Please keep up the great work and keep writing more Morganville books!
