Bio D Washing Powder Concentrated 1 kg (Pack of 3

We have been using this powder in an automatic washing machine for over a year. We have softish water and use 60ml per wash- we have a lovely 60ml plastic scoop. Normal levels of dirt are removed including collars and cuffs, at 40C, but the odd heavily soiled clothing gets a prior soak in a pretreatment powder.The 1kg pack is ABOUT 1000ml, so around 16 washes. For us six kg of powder is over a years worth of washing - hardly expensive, good to the environment, good to our clothes, good to us. None biological -we have had some sensitivity to those. No enzymes and no perfumes.The powder is sold in paper bags which Amazon bundle together, three paper bags inside a plastic bag, which is folded over and taped- not properly sealed. For long term storage (we have a damp cellar) we heat seal each paper bag into its own plastic bag.And this is a vegan product, BUAV approved (no animals tested).

Cleans well but doesn't dissolve well. Have to put boiling water down drawer to get it to all dissolve. Also don't use anywhere near the amount it says to.

This is our go-to washing powder. It removes all every-day dirt, leaves clothes clean and soft, and doesn't leave a residue on the fabric.It doesn't irritate my skin which reacts to some laundry products.We switched to this because the Ecover liquid detergent we used to use left the machine smelling damp, this doesn't have that problem.You will need a stain remover for dark stains like ink or red wine on light coloured fabric.We wash at 30, 60 and 90 degrees and this is just as good at all three temperatures.

Washes really well and is as eco friendly as possible.

This product is just brilliant - I Love the packaging - so many 'eco' products are sold in plastic containers. It works superbly too - no complaints at all. Except that it is a bit expensive but until somewhere else starts offering a similar product cheaper that ticks all the same boxes, I'll def still be buying this one :)

I like the product but not the packaging, it looks like paper but is actually lined with plastic so not as environmentally friendly as it first appears!

It is fragrance free as described which is good, but I have to add some soda crystals to the powder to get whites white.

Reading the other reviews - I always decant this into a recycled dry waterproof container anyway - easier to use; also I got free delivery which is always a bonus whatever you buy online!This product is excellent. I wanted one which was cruelty free; kind to my skin and worked - this ticks the boxes perfectly.I use this in conjunction with Oxo Brite Laundry Whitener (also bought from Amazon) for whites especially my partners white shirts which works and is also cruelty free and kind to skin.
