Turned laptop into desktop
I've newly been issued a work laptop. Previously I was on a desktop machine with dual monitor setup. The laptop I was issued only has a single HDMI out and the usb-c port does not support vide-out. I tried using the laptop+monitor but the screen on the laptop is smaller ais not as sharp. To help with this, I ordered the UANTIN splitter and it has solved the problem. After installing the driver, it is smooth sailing. I have the 2 monitors plugged into the extender/splitter and just close the lid on the laptop and use only the monitors.

Burn warning
The circle base gets super hot, to wear it could cause a fire, I would use caution in getting this.

Runs a bit hot, but works - solution included!
Setup was a little worrying. At first, it didn't work. My laptop recognized that it was plugged in, but the displays didn't work. On its own, Windows downloaded the driver in the background and after a few minutes of researching if my Lenovo IdeaPad 5 had a compatible USB-C port, the displays came up. I just happen to have mismatched monitors (one maxes out at 1080P and the other is 4K). Plugged them both in using old HDMI cords laying around (one was bad). After setting up Display Settings, it was seamless. I'm not a gamer, so I'm not testing graphics capability. But from the aspect of being able to hook up a compatible laptop to 2 external monitors using this device, it does it's job.Other review commented on the heat produced by the device. Yes, it runs hot. Hot enough to start a fire? Calm down. Too hot to keep in your lap? Definitely. Uncomfortable to touch would be how I would describe it. It's not causing burns. It's also a metal case which helps dissipate heat.I'm supposed to be getting a work laptop in October to replace the work desktop they gave me 4 years ago. They will allow me 2 monitors and a docking station, but only in the office. I got this to extend displays when I work from home. I will update my review if something bad happens with that setup and heavier usage.Update: Got my work laptop, a Dell Latitude 7450. This only seems to work in the USB-A slots, not the USB-C slot. And the 4K connection seems to drop out randomly. Not sure if that's related to the heating issue. IR temp scanner shows close to 100F. But jiggling the unit causes the 4K side to drop out. Maybe loose connection somewhere.Double Update: The random dropouts of the 4K monitor were solved by unplugging and plugging it back in. The heat issue was solved by adhering a 40mm heatsink with double sided thermal tape and putting a 40mm Noctua USB fan on it with a couple #6 3/4 inch wood screws. Temp barely gets above ambient.

Excellent solution for Macbook
I purchased the UANTIN USB 3.0 or USB C to Dual HDMI Splitter, and it exceeded my expectations. This product provides an excellent solution for extending my display on both Windows and Mac devices, especially for MacBook M1/M2. After a simple driver installation, I was able to run two monitors simultaneously, with one offering 4K resolution and the other 1080p, significantly boosting my productivity. The durable design, featuring a braided cable and high-quality connectors, makes it easy to use. It's definitely a great option for anyone needing a practical and efficient multi-screen setup

Plug-and-play right out of the box
This worked without issue on both a Mac and PC laptop. Was able to connect both to an external monitor with an HDMI plug as well as a TV.The PC took a good 20-30 seconds to configure itself so at first, I thought it wasn't working but after that initial use, it worked much more quickly going forward. With the Mac, there was no initial delay.I'd say this is a nice thing to have for your laptop bag or home situations where you'd like to use your laptop more like a desktop computer with the screen real estate that kind of setup provides.

Works for Mac
I got this because I wanted something that would allow to switch between a Mac and PC easily and still use my double monitor set up. I have a Mac Pro M1 which is notoriously hard to extend to multiple monitors. This splitter is easy enough to set up and the software is fairly easy to install. It worked ok for my Mac, though it did lose a bit of resolution, which was noticeable with text. I would have been ok with that for the convenience, but it did not work with my PC running Windows 11. It'd work for a while and then black out. Then back on. Then off again. It as very frustrating and unusable. I haven't had time to troubleshoot this yet, but certainly hasn't met my "ease of use" hopes. So it's ok for a Mac, but didn't work with my PC.

Useful
This functions well, doesn't take up too much space, it does create nice picture. It's definitely built with quality and worth the price.
