Our New and Improved Feral Cat House comes ready to deploy. It is insulated with ½ thick foam all around the inside. It has a waterproof shell and awning that are way more durable than our previous version. It is dry inside and we aim to keep it that way. It the most advanced "Cat Heated" shelter on the market. We fill each shelter half full with wheat straw to provide the perfect nest for your feral. The front and back doors are 1" thick Pine. The doors are felt backed with 1/2 inch thick foam to eliminate water penetration through the doors. The goal is for your feral to go in the shelter, make a nest and stay dry and warm in all types of weather. Most feral cats won't enter a shelter unless it has two doors. Our recent improvements include insulated the inside with ½" thick closed cell foam all the way around. We made the door smaller at 5.5 " round. We backed the felt doors with an upgraded 1/2 thick foam 12/13. The doors now flap closed to help eliminate any water and wind from entering the shelter. We added more straw to help insulate the shelter. We upgraded the roof and awning material so there is no more cracking in shipping. We eliminated the drain holes. All in all we feel this is a huge leap forward in making this a great feral cat house. Your feedback and ratings on Amazon will help us further improve it. Approximate size: 24" long x 14" high x 14" wide. Usable kitty space is a 12.5" diameter x 22" Large enough for two kitties if they share nicely. The awnings are 7 inches wide and 24" long. They extend over the shelter about 6 inches and will go a long way to protecting the entrance from rain and snow. The awnings are shipped loose with 6 screws. Just find the center on the awning and screw it in the wood part of the shelter. Start in the center and work toward the right and left. We are going to die cut the holes for you in our next round of improvements. Thanks for your consideration and hope you love it.
