Don't really mark fabric
I tried to use these to mark the new hem while shortening jeans, they hardly marked the fabric at all.

OK - but needs a fair bit of pressure
Both pencils need a fair bit of pressure to mark, particularly on leather / suede which I use for crafting. Ive found that tailors chalk is more effective. Prompt delivery and clearly well made - may work better with chunkier fabrics???
