Great value fantastic TV
Fantastic tv so easy to set up and a fantastic picture and sound of it.Don't believe the negative comments it's worth every penny.

Quite a bargin at this price point
Arrived promptly, easy to set up, picture quality is fine for the price i paid. Sound is OK too, but will pipe it through my amp' and speakers eventually, so won't be using the on-board speakers.Interface is nothing exceptional but, again, for the price I have nothing to moan about. If you're looking for a fairly big, sub 400 quid telly, then you should consider this item.Update after a week of ownership - It's even better! Getting this thing playing wirelessly through my Yammy amp was a breeze. My friends that have seen this in action are full of praise, again given the price paid. You will struggle to find anything better for under 400 quid.

It's ok
Arrived promptly and is easy to setup. Can't get it to open prime video! Will play stuff on prime but you have to know it's there. Still waiting for an reply from the helpline.

Excellent considering the price
Picture quality was better than I expected at this price and I didn’t find the interface particularly slow as others have reported. Setup was easy as were the automatic software updates. Earc/arc worked perfectly for me. Once I configured the interface to stop all the annoying auto play bits it was fine. For the money and as a second tv in the kitchen / bedroom / summerhouse / caravan this represents exceptional value for the £230 I paid.

NOT SO SMART TV
WHY CANT IS THERE NO CONTROL BUTTON FOR BRIGHTNESS OR A CONTRAST BUTTON AT THE MOMENT ITS IN POSSIBLE TO WATCH A FILM IN THE DAY TIME AND THE SOUND AS TO BE OB 30 TO HEAR IT MY OLD TV I ONLY HAD TO HAVE IT ON 5 FOR SOUND AND THIS IS WHAT YOU CALL A SMART TV I CALL IT RUBBISH

Great if you love fire TV
This telly doesn't have a great viewing angle so not so great a picture when viewed from the side but that's not important in my situation. It has no headphone socket so no analogue 'controlable' sound output so I will need an eARC sound extractor to get sound to my analogue powered speakers, bit of a pain but I can live with that. On the plus side I am using this to replace a previous fire edition tv and this one is much quicker and responsive than the old one, it has freeview play and all the apps I use are far more responsive. I had a fair idea of what I was getting when I bought this and overall I am pleased with what I got. One really nuisance was the 'one time' issue was the doing 1st time setup which took around 2hrs for all of the system updates. It would have been nice for the telly to have had its operating system more ready out of the box, 2hrs is a long time just to have it up to date. Having said that I loved the old fire edition tv and I love this one too. Just one more thing, after messing around trying to see if bluetooth could be an option to extract analogue sound I found it wasn't because it made the TV severely lag on everything while the Bluetooth was active and keep lagging until I deleted the paired device regardless of if the device was switched on or off. Works well with 2 echo 5s in cinema mode, it looks like it's created its own WiFi network to do it and not using the Bluetooth
